Maxwell Street Polish is a classic spot for Chicago-style hot dogs and sausages! I tried their signature Maxwell Street Polish sausage, and it was perfectly grilled, juicy, and topped with the tangy grilled onions and mustard that make it so iconic. The fries on the side were crispy and seasoned just right. The staff were friendly and efficient, even during a busy lunch crowd. A must-visit if you want an authentic taste of Chicago street food!
A little hood spot to get food early in the am the only thing I didn't like the polish were beef and pork mixed it's 2025 and they still don't accommodate very religion type.
I used to walk far distances to get to this place on Southwestern Avenue in Chicago to taste something new from the menu including desserts. I’d bring home some food to friends and family. Now they bring it home to me. Recently visiting family and I drove over there and we parked on the side somewhere and sat at a public neighbourhood steps. People passing by were waving at us in a friendly manner. Obviously, they saw and heard that we were enjoying the experience of a lifetime!...
