Whoever is taking phone orders needs to work in the back or figure out how to talk to CUSTOMERS!!! Why get an attitude cuz I can understand you? You mumble and smack on whatever you're eating and expect me to figure out what you're saying. I remember making up my mind about 5 years ago that I wouldn't go back. But I ordered frim them a few weeks ago and had a pleasant experience with a younger gentleman.Now I remember why I said I won't go back and I'm putting it out here so I can remember next time. That older man had THE ABSOLUTE WORST customer service!!! I just kindly reminded him that I didn't have to order from Maya's. This is Chicago and PIZZA IS EVERYWHERE!!!

I grew up with their pizza I always loved it just not the greasy part but obviously its a bit unavoidable. I'm glad they have instructions to on their pamphlet menu to have your ready when ordering. It's pricey but worth it I ordered an XL pizza half pepperoni and half mushrooms with jalapenos just enough for my two siblings, my fiance and I since my fiance eats more than us 3 haha.

It's a small, yet very good restaurant. I have passed by this place so many times, and i finally stopped and ordered a pizza. 3 words. CRISPY, HOT, DELICIOUS. I ordered a 12' thick crust (New york style) pizza, and it was loaded with topping, tomatoe sauce, and cheese. The crust was crispy and perfectly cooked. Not doughy, not burnt. If i had to rate this restaurant only for its pizza, then i would give it an 8/10. The reason being they dont offer pepper on the side or garlic butter sauces. Regardless, it was fantastic. I literally burnt the whole roof of my mouth, trying to shove the pizza in my mouth. If you are like me, you know what im talking about 😂😂ðŸ˜. This is a pizza destination spot for the connoisseur.
