Hours need to be updated. 3rd time I tried to grab a drink on my way home from work and they're closed up shop entirely by 10. Could understand if I had just missed the bartender because I understand there are slow days but for almost a full months worth of Saturdays mid summer is not great for business considering the hours that are posted. Now I know to spend my money before even reaching the station because they clearly dont want it here.

Got cheap beers ($4 old style) before a train ride. Great for a fast beer.

Bartender was especially rude. My phone died and was trying to call my mom. I asked if she had a phone charger I could borrow she had the audacity to say i could only use the charger if i bought a drink. I walked back to the table to grab my phone and was then told i could only stay in there if i bought a drink. She was incredibly rude. It was an emergency and she’s only concerned on selling drinks? I will be calling the bar to speak to a manager. Her attitude was gross. She had blonde hair and tattoos.

Not easy to see the entrance to south shore line-
A visual of entrance from street is helpful

Consistently underpoured on Togo drinks. Then she did it again on the Wednesday before thanksgiving…totally lame. Will change back to buying beer outside of station…was liking the togo cocktails…oh well. Union Station has better bars.

Every time I come to the bar there is a bartender name Jay that stares at me and makes me feel very uncomfortable I do not know what this bartender has against me but I won’t be coming back because of her.

I left the girl a $5 tip and when the charge went through she left herself $15. I clearly wrote in the tip AND total. No one will answer the phone so I can’t speak to anyone there.

I recently stopped by MBar, located inside historic Millennium Station in downtown Chicago. Millennium Station, known as one of the busiest railway stations in The Second City, makes for a convenient spot to grab a drink when waiting for a Metra or Amtrak train.MBar offers nice views of Chicago's impressive skyline from its floor-to-ceiling windows. On a blustery day, it's the perfect place to escape The Windy City weather and warm up with one of their craft cocktails. The drinks are creatively named with train-themed monikers like 'The Commute' and 'Express Track.'In addition to its cocktail menu, MBar serves small plates like truffle popcorn perfect for snacking. The space has a modern, sophisticated feel with dim lighting and dark wood decor. It seems like a nice hidden gem for travelers passing through Millennium Station, the City's main downtown train depot located just a stone's throw from iconic landmarks like Grant Park and Buckingham Fountain.Whether you're a local looking to start your evening downtown or a visitor needing to wait out a delay, I recommend stopping in to MBar to relax with a drink and soak in views of the vibrant city skyline along Lake Michigan. Just be sure to check the departure boards still—wouldn't want to miss your train!

It's a nice place to wait for the train. The staff and customers are friendly. The drinks are well made, and it feels like a break from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. A variety of games and shows are usually on TV. It is a great way to kill time while waiting on your train or to visit if you are in the area.
