I love going to this train station! They have a lot of restaurants and shops that are affordable, not like union station where you can't even afford a bag of chips 😩 the atmosphere feels safe,they have security and Metra employees all around just in case you need help with anything! And there are other stores right upstairs on Randolph Street, so convenient!! I go there just to grab a bite to eat and something to drink! And then I go upstairs on Randolph Street to shop!
I recently stopped by MBar, located inside historic Millennium Station in downtown Chicago. Millennium Station, known as one of the busiest railway stations in The Second City, makes for a convenient spot to grab a drink when waiting for a Metra or Amtrak train.MBar offers nice views of Chicago's impressive skyline from its floor-to-ceiling windows. On a blustery day, it's the perfect place to escape The Windy City weather and warm up with one of their craft cocktails....
It's a nice place to wait for the train. The staff and customers are friendly. The drinks are well made, and it feels like a break from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. A variety of games and shows are usually on TV. It is a great way to kill time while waiting on your train or to visit if you are in the area.
