Not only is this the worst bar on the south side, I think it might be the worst bar in the entire Midwest. Bathrooms are disgusting. Bartenders are rude. Seems like they only like they're regulars

The new management is wonderful! My husband and I have been patroning McNally's since we moved to the area. We were sad when they announced they were closing at the end of 2024, but THRILLED when they reopened under new management in 2025.
Staff are very friendly, and their private event space is perfect! I recently held my baby shower there and the space had everything I could have asked for. Plenty of tables for both seating, food/deserts, and gifts. Management was very responsive to booking the space and answering questions. 10/10 would host another event there.

Would have given 5 stars but all the tables are high tops or stools at the bar need some regular height tables and chairs however the staff is great and they pour a great pint the owner is very neighborhood friendly and does alot of good things for church and charities

Another Western Avenue gem which has been battling fake reviews online. What am I referring to? Reviews that claim bad service and bad food. Guess what? It’s a bar not a restaurant. They don’t serve food. Reviews that mention this are fraudulent. The people have never stepped foot inside.This place is a great bar to catch a Sox game and have some cold beers with friends. You can’t beat that. Recently they have done some remodeling and McNallys is nicer than ever.
This is a pretty good bar on Western. First of all, they don’t serve food. Any review that mentions food means that the reviewer is flat out lying and has never been there. This is a bar that serves cold beer in the company of nice employees. They’ve made some renovations recently. They also support lots of neighborhood causes. Drink here. Watch the White Sox.

Just got kicked out by the rude bartenders because of a recently made review… very ironic haha. I wonder why so many people are saying that the bartenders are bad .. worst bar on the Southside if you ask me.
