The food was very good! But the service left a lot to be desired for. Our server was very abrupt with us and quite frankly, rude. The food, while good, doesn’t really make up for the experience I had here. Our server spoke very little to us, barely made sure if we were taken care of and grew annoyed when we asked him to repeat a food option he mentioned to us. It felt like this particular person had a problem with us the moment we walked in and it really soured our experience because we were very excited to try this restaurant. If you like good Chinese food, order online and get a carry out, skip eating inside because of impatient, bitter and rude workers.

Got the Dan Dan noodles and dry chili chicken. The noodles were delicious and had a good kick. The chicken was crispy and spicy. The peppers made my mouth a little numb and gave my nose a run. Even with all this spice, the dish was still enjoyable. Good, flavorful Szechuan style food.

So glad we stopped here, well worth the visit. Everything we ordered was delicious.Only downside was my wife is gluten free, and while they can prepare foods GF, there's cross contamination. The waiter was super helpful in us navigating that (she wound up going to another place a block away).

Food was delicious. Probably some of the best Chinese food I've had!! Service was great. When we went it was an hour wait. Put your name down, pay a hot $10 and come back when they text you. We had tea at another spot and shopped a little while we waited. Next time I'm in Chicago I'm going back.

Cozy, clean, wonderful service, but most importantly, great food. Michelin star Szechuan restaurant. We ordered the chicken dry pot, gan guo chicken, crab rangoon, Szechuan chicken in diving sauce I think? All great.

Walking through New Chinatown we stopped to give this place a try, especially after seeing the Michelin awards poster for multiple years in a row. The wait was about 1hr and seating was very limited so plan ahead. Now once we were seated the service was fast and food came out in a timely manner. For the food I had mixed feelings, but want to start with saying that the food was good and very enjoyable. My only observation was that it was not a super flavorful taste ( little on the lightly seasoned side) but the texture and quality was on point. I had mixed feelings because I was expecting a bit more punch of flavor, especially since the Michelin ratings definitely grabbed our attention. Now the "pros" side of this is that you can eat alot of the food and not feel overwhelmed since flavor was more on the tamed side. That being said we enjoyed our meals and ordered multiple unique dishes and didn't feel overwhelmed. Walked away very satiated. Would definitely recommend with family style eating. Pork belly and dumplings were amazing!

The Michelin guide entry for this restaurant praises a rabbit dish. Said dish arrives breaded, deepfried, inadequately deboned, with chilli peppers... and nothing else. No vegetables of note, nothing more than rabbit nuggets and chilli peppers. With a lot of fun picking out the bones.Do yourself a favor, don't order it. Stick to something you've heard of before.

Giving three stars because I have gotten takeout before and it was great tasting food in regards to flavor, spice, and portions. Unfortunately, on 3/8 my partner and I both got food poisoning after ordering takeout. Our usual is fried rice, chicken egg rolls, dry chili chicken, and Mongolian-style steak. We think the chicken was what was off that Friday.

Solid restaurant, but nothing to write home about. Their orange chicken was good but everything else we've tried was either too greasy, too salty or with a lack of flavor and we walked out feeling a little gross. Overall I'd say there are better restaurants in Chinatown. They do validate parking for the big lot however.

Food was great, out extremely quickly. The service was a solid 10/10. After eating my meal it was packaged in the back. I ordered a hot pot and it was separated, packaged and returned to me. Food quality was good as well.
