We were traveling from Michigan, and it was surprising to find a fast food place with parking in the busy city of Chicago. The food was hot and fresh, far better than our local McD's. The downside was that the restaurant was very cold, so we chose to sit in our car. Normally, I wouldn't rate a fast food place, as they are generally pretty similar. But I wanted to give a thumbs up where it was deserved.

I drove 15 minutes to this Westtown location for morning coffee and trying to charge my laptop. Dining area is bright and cozy, with plenty of seating. I found that all wall outlet plates were replaced with solid covers, so there were no usable outlets for customers to use. I ended up leaving without ordering food and headed to the next door Mariano’s, which has a rooftop parking lot and a Starbucks.

I made a dumb mistake in the drive thru and pulled to the side instead of the next window bc I misheard the person before. The woman who came out and brought me my food was so nice about it! If I were her I would have been fully annoyed at a lunch rush but no, if she was, she didn’t show it at all. I apologized for the mistake and she was just so nice and polite. I know this is small but kindness really just goes such a long way.
