I ordered a Half Slab of Baby Back Ribs, 1/2 lb of Beef Brisket (burnt ends), and a small side of Mac and Cheese.
The portions of meat were generous and well-seasoned, generously coated in BBQ sauce, making them quite delicious. However, the Mac and Cheese did not meet expectations and needs improvement.
I was taken aback by the restaurant's size; it was quite small. As someone in a wheelchair, I had difficulty making a 360-degree turn due to the narrow waiting area. Despite this, the atmosphere was pleasant, filled with the enticing aroma of BBQ, and the chef was friendly and laid-back.
Overall, I recommend Medley's BBQ and plan to return to try their Turkey Tips and Fried Chicken Skins.

First time trying this hidden gem, Medley’s BBQ and found it to be pretty darn good. I had an assortment of beef brisket, turkey tips, beef ribs and smoked wings. EVERYTHING was seasoned just right and tender. The brisket and beef ribs were especially tender. Two thumbs up 👍🏽 👍🏽

I really wanted to give 4 stars because the food had great flavor, but unfortunately everything was cold.
I ate it immediately in the parking lot, so it should’ve been hot.
The greens, wings with the sweet bbq sauce, and brisket, and beef rib were flavorful but cold.
I had two beef ribs and one wasn’t edible. One piece of brisket was tender, while the other was dry like it had been sitting out.
The mac and cheese was only slightly warm, but not flavorful in my opinion.
I ordered around 6:30 PM (they closed at 8). I also had to go back in for utensils and napkins, and I didn’t receive the extra sauce I paid for. Didn't notice I didn't receive my sauce until I got back into the car.
I drove 45 minutes after seeing this place on social media, so this was disappointing.
The flavors show real potential ... if temperature and consistency improve, this could easily be a 4-star spot, maybe even 5!
Try it yourself and hopefully you have a better result!
I've been eating food from Medley Grill & BBQ for years and they never disappoint. The beef brisket & turkey tips never last at our family functions. And my family who is very picky about their greens absolutely love the greens from Medley. Even more importantly than the great food... they are on time with your orders!!!!!

I had the the rib and smoked chicken combo with mac and cheese and greens. The ribs and chicken were delicious, tender and the sauce was so good. The green and mac could have use a little more salt but I understand salt levels are based on an individual's preference. I am looking forward to going back and try the turkey chops.

3.5 rating. I was excited to find a new barbecue spot near me. The customer service was great. The gentleman in the kitchen was honest about the extra wait time. The food wasn’t bad. I got the turkey tips, yams, brisket baked beans and Mac and cheese. The sides were good, but my tips were tough and heavy on the black pepper. I wasn’t able to try the honey cornbread muffin because it was extremely hard.

Ordered 2, 3 meat plates with a bunch of sides. Turkey tips, brisket and wings were perfect. Beef ribs and beef link were solid. I loved the beans and yams. Mac and cornbread dressing were nice. Slaw and cornbread muffins could be improved but very impressed overall. Authentic, real bbq made by people that care.

I visited Chicago for the weekend and was really excited to try Medley’s since I don’t eat pork and beef ribs are hard to come by.
The man who took our order was anything but friendly. The women were nice but the service was the least of our issues. We had 2 $30 half slab dinners that we basically couldn’t eat because the ribs were cooked so long and hard that the meat was inedible. Thankfully I ordered extra bbq sauce so I basically had to drown the ribs or else chewing gave me a headache. I wasn’t a fan of the macaroni or greens either (neither was flavored well to me). My friend did like the rice though. My other friend ordered hot links which could’ve been used as a weapon since they were also hard as bricks. So yeah, we really should’ve gone back for refunds (because I really can’t believe they served us those meats) and returned the mess we were given but we were on a tight schedule so this review will have to suffice.

I did ubereats. I ordered 6 beef ribs, they only gave me 4 ribs and my cornbread was missing. Ubereats only gave me a $4 refund on a $110+ order. Called restaurant and initially blamed uber driver which was wrong of them. Package was secured and not tampered with. Restaurant told me to pick up the 2 ribs lol. I didn’t overpay on ubereats just to pick up the missing order items at the end. Driving there and back would’ve taken me an hour. The 4 beef ribs were dry, tasted like beef jerky and barely had meat on them. Ribs also arrived COLD. My friend ate with me and said it tasted like they didn’t wash the meat and she felt disgusted eating it. My other friend had the brisket and didn’t have any complaints. The large yams were $10 but it looked like a small portion and wasn’t seasoned well. Needless to say, I will never eat here again. They have a low rating for a reason.

Sauce is wonderful tastes like honey mixed with mustard with specs of black pepper it was delicious not like any sauce I could compare it to.. sweet potatoes and coleslaw was good as well staff was beautiful black and friendly! Definitely will be back to try something else.
