First time having it and the food was good. Honestly nothing to rave about. I had the turkey tips which i didn't care for, and the chicken wings which was actually pretty good. Would I be back? Maybe since my husband enjoyed the food. He liked it a lot., especially the turkey tips.

Ordered beef ribs and turkey tips online. While on my way to pick it up they called and told me they ran out of beef ribs and if i want brisket instead. I was already almost there and it was kind of a long drive so I said yeah it was fine but really i was pretty mad. That changed when I got the brisket because honestly it was thr best brisket I've ever had in my entire life. Turkey tips were really good too and the portions for both were huge! Definitely gonna come back and hopefully try the beef ribs someday.!

I picked up a brisket sandwich and fries with coleslaw and mixed sauce. This was the worst brisket I’ve ever eaten and who puts grilled onions on a brisket sandwich gross. 🤮

I was told to give this place a try when I made it back to Chicago. I’m glad I did.
I was wondering if the price for the two meat special was high, but after tasting the food and feeling completely satisfied, it’s worth the every penny.
The beef bones were meaty and the smoke wings, cooked perfectly. Sides are always a juggle when ordering from barbecue spots but these two were spot on. The brisket baked beans contained chunky portions of meat and the greens weren’t too vinegary or sweet like some other spots can be. They were in fact tender and the corn bread muffins went great with it.
Happy I stopped by and gave this place a try.

Wings were good, didn't taste fresh, but had a good taste. Rice tasted funny, like it had been burned. Not flavorful at all. Maybe got a bad batch, but wouldn't recommend the dirty rice. Wings were good and the sauce was as well.

I spent $30 on a meal that was lightweight and my sides were only a fork and a half full That's highway robbery!! AND THE meat was Burnt(Brisket)but when I took it back in side he did give me some more meat..but this what happens when you let a teenager kid works and fix customer's food

Smoked meat has a very distinctive smokey flavor. I patiently waited almost an hour for this delivery but I swear I could not detect any smokiness at all. It was a huge letdown. I requested FRIED chicken but got BAKED. HEAVY mixed sauce should have been ON the chicken: there was none. The sauce was puddled at the bottom of the container and it wasn’t spicy at all. Many of the fries had dark spots on them, you’re supposed to cut out the dark spots on potatoes! That ruined the whole vibe and they didn’t seem fresh cut either. Plus, I asked for spicy sauce on the side but they put it ON the fries and again, not spicy. I see all these good reviews so hopefully, the chef just had a bad day or it is close to Christmas, perhaps the regular chef is off for the holidays. The delivery was great. At least he followed my no contact instructions.

I went home with greens, mac & cheese, fries, beef ribs and brisket. As usual everything was amazing. This is the first time this holiday season (Dec. '24) I've had greens (outside of my own) that I didn't throw away, they were so outstanding, I had to drink the pot likker.😂
Additionally, every time I've visited I've always had amazing customer service. Just be patient as your food is prepared, this isn't McDonald's... Good home cooked food takes time, especially BBQ.
