I was charged 38 dollars for 2 large orders of fried rice and 1 order of crab rangoon. Not only was I overcharged but staff is rude.

In all honestly I was expecting the food to be in another level since they’ve been in business for 10+years. Another reviewer wrote that the food was greasy and I can confirm that. The food is on the greasy side and to top it off they don’t provide you with napkins. The food was lacking flavor and the portion was small. It looked like my order was leftovers from another order. I’m all about supporting small family owned businesses but I won’t be back to this one. My $13.85 plus $3.00tip was not worth my lunch plate.

One of the worst tasting Chinese foods. More than bland -negative bland. And one dish tasted scorched.
The service was kinda terrible but the food was not good and now my stomach is upset and so is my sister’s and there was no music playing and it was an overall not good experience and would never go back again and the chicken was not even fresh witch is very disappointing. The fried rice was missing soy sauce when it was cooked and even the seasoning witch is upsetting. The restaurant was small and too many mirrors

allways great service and food. the egg rolls are excellent, and so are Mongolian beef, beef chowmein, and beef and pea pods.
The food was good and it was served hot and in the right order. The server was seasoned and knew how to treat customers and serve the dishes correctly. They had numerous carryout during the time we were there, which showed that there is an audience for their food.

I recommend this old-school Chinese-American restaurant. Very quaint family-owned atmosphere with all of the little touches. Complementary tea on the tables is a definite perk. The veggie egg rolls are good as is the veggie fried rice (really good rice!). They have plenty of good options and you can even get a family meal deal. I would recommend this place for a mellow environs for Chinese.

The food was fantastic. The service was OK. I felt like I was being rushed to eat and get the hell out of there. I think next time I will do takeout. Because in all honesty, their food is really good.

My favorite restaurant near my home. Service is great, food is amazing, and atmosphere is lovely. Definitely would recommend ?
Everything needed salt and seasoning. It was pretty disappointing because seems like people have good things to say about it. But it missed the mark for me.
Restaurantji Recommends
The Mongolian beef is by far my favorite dish. Not 1 restaurant I've been to that does it that great...guaranteed. Great customer service, love the vintage Asian style restaurant as well. Restaurants like that are hard to come by nowadays and becoming more nostalgic to me. Go there while you can. Original not modern or super hip like what all the Restaurants look like. I hope Restaurants like this do not become obsolete and ppl like me continue to go and support to keep them around. Great food and nostalgic feel.

Been going here pretty much my whole life. It’s honestly probably some of the best Chinese food in the city. I recommend getting the Mongolian beef and always always get the crab rangoon ;)
The freshest best Chinese food around ChicagoTell Sandy that Ted sent you. It's the only Chinese restaurant that I go to and drive 11 miles to get there .Singapore ? noodles are my favorite
Great food. But worst customer service ever. The old lady who takes orders has no idea what she is doing and messes orders up
