Stopped by Mehrab Restaurant for lunch the other day. Went with the Masala Dosa and a mini tiffin—felt like trying something legit South Indian. The dosa was crispy and filling, and the chutneys were on point, but the biryani looked sad and had a few cold chicken bits. The service was alright but slowish, and the place could use a quick wipe‑down here and there. We spent about $25 for the two of us.

Food is not so tasty and the guy who’s taking the order was rude.

Loved the Desi taste of food, worth the price.

Stopped by Mehrab on Devon for a South Indian fix. Ordered the Cheese Dosa and Upma. The dosa was crispy with a generous cheese filling, and the upma had a comforting, homey taste. Spent around $30 and left full. Only downside: the service was a bit slow, and the place could use a little sprucing up. Still, the food hits the spot—worth a visit if you're in the area.

I went here this morning for halwa puri and dosa, and the experience was horrible. All they served for the halwa puri was a portion of halwa and one giant poori dripping with oil—no vegetables or chana (chickpeas), which is very disappointing and not what you expect from a proper halwa puri plate.

The dosa was also a letdown—way too soft and lacked the crispiness it should have. On top of that, the person at the reception was extremely rude and unprofessional. His attitude made the whole experience even worse.

Definitely not worth the money or the visit. I won’t be coming back here again.

Bumped into this gem while looking for places that open early and seeve good south Indian breakfast. We had karampodi dosa and mix tifin, it was just delicious and so fresh. I am surprised the quantity is so good with the price and everything tasted delicious. I would highly recommend this place. It was clean and service was quick

The masala dosa is the best I’ve had. Love that it was spicy! If you don’t like spicy I’d mention that to them. But to me it was the best!!! So delicious, will definitely be back!

The food looked good, the taste was okay but the quality was pathetic. We ordered idlis and masala dosas. The idlis were big but hard. The chutneys tasted good and so was the dosa but don't know about the ingredients as we all got a stomach upset after eating there. The fat and fair guy at the counter was arrogant and he didn't wash his hands after using the washroom. The washroom is the dirtiest I have seen on Devon.
