Bumped into this gem while looking for places that open early and seeve good south Indian breakfast. We had karampodi dosa and mix tifin, it was just delicious and so fresh. I am surprised the quantity is so good with the price and everything tasted delicious. I would highly recommend this place. It was clean and service was quick

One of the best dosa. People are really nice. But masala dosa little extra spicy. So the real test of the food hides
Breakfast and chutneys here taste just like how u get them at a hyderabadi tiffin place.

The masala dosa is the best I’ve had. Love that it was spicy! If you don’t like spicy I’d mention that to them. But to me it was the best!!! So delicious, will definitely be back!

The food looked good, the taste was okay but the quality was pathetic. We ordered idlis and masala dosas. The idlis were big but hard. The chutneys tasted good and so was the dosa but don't know about the ingredients as we all got a stomach upset after eating there. The fat and fair guy at the counter was arrogant and he didn't wash his hands after using the washroom. The washroom is the dirtiest I have seen on Devon.

We were just here for the dosa. My husband was craving to have a good dosa & one of his friends (who's from India and know the authenticity of their local food) recommended him to go to Mehrab Restaurant on Devon Ave. for the authentic Dosa.
The food was good ?, the chutneys were ok, I mean, it wasn't super delicious, but not bad.
The amazing thing is their staff. We were greeted by Mr. Usman & he was good at suggesting us as per our mood. He was not only very kind but he quite entertained our 3.5 years old well. He gave us the complimentary dessert name fruit custard with jelly & nuts. It was really great in taste. We usually don't have a big sweet tooth, but when I tasted that, it was really yummy ?.
The atmosphere is ok then comes the food but the staff is grate.
I recommend this place especially for the staff they have. Very courteous & friendly.

Literally only 2 items in the menu were available, and the food and service was one of the worst I've ever seen. Will never come back.
We have been here quite a few times really like there Vada & dosa is big and more than enough for 1 person comes with chutney and sambar. Also had there pani puri better than many other places

So for me guys, I’m a foodie. Love food and all kinds but especially Indian food. However, I’m also a person who understands that above all, human relation and interaction is the only thing that outlives and outlasts anything and everything in this world. Be it positive relation and interaction or negative. The interaction we have with another human leaves an everlasting impression and it can continue for generations, be it positive or negative. So in the spirit of human interaction and humane interaction, I wanna say, Mehrab and its people have left an everlasting impression on me and my family. Positive impression. What can I say, amazing treatment and service. It’s a family run business and they treat you like guests visiting their family home and in the spirit of athitthee devo bava, they will do everything possible to make you feel comfortable. Nothing means more in life than the way you treat another human being. Everything else is irrelevant and the sooner we all learn that the better we will be coz the truth is, there is no one coming to help us. We have to help and be kind to each other and some of the ways to be kind is through food and through service.
Okay enough of TED talk lecture. I wanna give a 4 1/2 stars for the food but would settle for 4 stars. Don’t get me wrong guys, the food is amazing . It was warm and fresh. Rice was cooked well and they put different spices in the rice for aroma and for taste. Tandoori chicken was cooked well and marinated well as well and when eaten warm it tastes really well. However above all that, I loved the fact that their buffet was reasonably priced at $15.99 per person and not just that, the number of items were just perfect and enough and totally justified the price. Not too much and not too less. There was goat curry, chicken tandoori, chicken curry. Dal, potatoe curry, naan, pappad, salad , appetizers and two kinds of dessert.
If you were to ask me constructive criticism, I’d say, maybe they can get better quality meat but the ones they have is good but it’s something they can do to keep improving. The interior is clean but looks a bit old so they could say change the table cloths for newer ones etc. overall a great place and great service with some great beautiful people. Thank you .
Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian dishes but not sure if a vegetarian would like to visit since it also serves non vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: They have a high chair and would help with any requests you have to accommodate your kids needs. I personally guarantee that from experience.
