I ordered the fuul and also a mango madness smoothie from here and it was all really fresh and amazing. The fuul wasn’t too spicy, it was very flavorful and the customer service was great. I’m super picky but I’m glad I tried their food I’ll most definitely be back.

Amazing and cute little spot! Unique menu serving Ethiopian and Eritrean cafe/brunch eats, different from the usual injera bread and curries. Highly recommend it, especially during patio weather!

PHENOMENAL coffee and it's not overly hot when served.

We just stopped by for a coffee because at 3:30p there was nowhere to get a coffee on Bryn Mawr. My husband’s latte & croissant were wonderful. My gelato was excellent and very reasonably priced. The staff was very helpful & friendly. Their Ethio/Eritrean options look very interesting & we’ll be back to try more!

I recently had a disappointing visit to Mella Café. I ordered two pancakes with eggs, and after waiting about 20 minutes, I approached the worker to ask about my order. She told me the cook had mistakenly prepared waffles instead of pancakes. Although I said that was okay, I couldn’t help but feel that they wouldn’t have informed me if I hadn’t asked. Once I was given the two waffles, I noticed that there were no eggs along with it. I asked the worker, and she informed me that the eggs are *in* the waffles, not on the side, which I felt was contrary to how it was advertised. Unfortunately, the waffles didn’t taste good and were quite dry; I ended up throwing most of it away. I also ordered a coffee (which was given to me immediately after my order) but it too tasted just okay. I don’t think I’ll return.
