Small but mighty!! Great Chicago feel and great food! The menu offers a variety of options. Everything we've had has been tasty. From the gyros to the Chicken Ceasar wrap. The staff is friendly. On our last visit an older gentleman gave my kids some Angry Octopus stickers. Simple touch but it made their day. 5/5 across-the-board!!

We were wandering around the area and decided to pop in for pizza. Best choice ever!!!! Great thin crust pizza. While pineapple on pizza causes controversy in some circles, this was one of the best Hawaiian pizzas I've had.

Really enjoyed this spot. I got the Italian beef and fries both were solid, fresh, and flavorful. The fries especially stood out, perfectly fried and great portion. The inside of the place has a unique vibe too. I liked the octopus mural and the whole ocean theme, it gives it its own character. Overall a cool spot with good food. Will be coming back.
I stumbled upon this place after a nail appointment and saw they had pizza by the slice. Skeptical being a pizza snob I ordered a slice and literally swallowed it before I even got to my car. After every nail appointment this is my go to. The wings are great, the fries amazing, Mozzarella sticks etc. My only complaint is the disappointment I felt when after my nail appointment on a Wednesday they were closed !!!!!!! Try this place you won’t be disappointed.

This is a fantastic little gem! My wife and I were visiting Chicago when we stumbled upon Angry Octopus while exploring the Lincoln Park neighborhood. We decided to stop in for a bite and ordered burgers and fries—she chose the ground beef, and I went with the turkey burger. Both were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, topped just right, and served in portions that hit the sweet spot for a late lunch or early dinner.
The fries were a standout too—crispy boardwalk-style potato slices with just the right touch of salt. Simple, fresh, and very satisfying.
What really impressed us, though, was the atmosphere. While we were eating, the owner greeted a regular customer with special needs and showed her genuine kindness and respect. It was heartwarming to see such a welcoming, neighborly spirit in action—something you don’t always find, even in big cities.
We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you’re in Chicago, do yourself a favor and check this place out—you won’t be disappointed!
