I LOVE this place. I absolutely love the product. It's so refreshing to walk into a place where the employees actually look like they enjoy their job and are happy to be there. Always greeted with a smile and amazing service. I recommend it to everyone. I would give it 100 stars if possible.

I’m obsessed with Menchie’s! Delicious self-serve froyo with good topping choices, and it’s sanitary/COVID-friendly. The place is colorful, staff are nice, there are multiple places to sit, free bathrooms, and it’s in a nice shopping center. Also they have an app and free reward system - $5 off every $50 plus birthday reward! I will say it’s a little pricey… but I think it’s worth it. Definitely my favorite froyo in Chicago!!!

Not sure what happened but we paid $21 for 2 froyos... We know how this works but I am 99% sure this was a mistake because we did not get much. The price per ounce is not listed anywhere in the store. The Mochi was stale and not chewy. The toppings were in 2 oz containers so you can't really customize how you want it unless you pay tons of money for each topping... The vibe is really weird. The people that work here don't see very happy (which is fine). More so, I used the 20% off Yelp check in offer... and the guy had no idea what he was doing. I won't be returning because $21 for froyo just does not float this boat. Service 1 Vibe/aura 1 Price 1 Food 3 (yogurt was good) 2 stars

Also, they close at 10:30pm, but when my friend and I went to sit at a table outside before 9pm, a staff member took all of the tables inside and then stacked all the indoor tables and chairs against a wall so people couldn’t use them. A little weird if they are still open over 90 minutes more?
I understand many had to make adjustments to accommodate to the rules and regulations brought by Covid, but Menchie’s seems to take an opportunity quite well. Like some have mentioned, customization is extremely limited. Everything is prepackaged and in big quantities so you can’t get a little bit of this and a little bit of that. You decide to get more than one cup of toppings, you’re already set to pay a lot.That might be overlooked but then you realized they removed the samples. You have to commit to spend around $10 for frozen yogurt but you can’t even get to see which one of the flavors you want to spend $10 on. Gotta just settle for one. They can’t even say that the samples were a contamination hazard because at the end of the day one’s still serving their own cup anyway.Maybe the cashier can help guide you? No. No one was around for a good while. They only came out to charge us. It’s hard to tell what was forced upon them by Covid but this felt like too much.

Kinda weird vibe. Super excited to come here but once we did the person working didn't even come great us or tell us their new Covid policies/procedures. We just kinda winged it until she came out of the back area, while we were getting our stuff. She didn't explain the new cup system for the toppings (do we use all in the cup or just a little?) the cups were super full, resulting in us paying more. Totally understand it being a slow time but if she pretended to care even that would've been great.

Menchies is not the same anymore! No more samples, toppings are individually prepacked (aka probably paying more) & not able to mix to your level of preference & customization. Service was also poor.
