Man can they bake. Anything bread based is worth trying. Excellent service. Good beer selection. And they sell Christmas trees. And there's outdoor seating.

Bungalow... more like Boogalow. My beautiful girlfriend and I went here to get a delicious slice of cheese pizza. What should have been a magical experience was turned sour by terrible ambiance, terrible service, and the worst seat in the house. Dozens of children running around late on a Saturday evening. We were stuck next to the fridge and the ice cream machine. Dozens of butts in our faces the whole meal. There was even an employee filling the fridge with beer. TERRIBLE! We were only there an hour and then they tried to freeze us out. What did I do to deserve this? And then they forced us to get the $4 espresso sauce. My girlfriend doesn't even like espresso. Other than that, food was great.

Great place to get pizza for brunch, if you're so inclined, but of course it doesn't end there - the brown bread served with n'duja butter is incredible, and they've got an ample beer (unsurprising - they are run by Middle Brow, of course) and wine list and non-alcoholic options. The place is roomy and appears to be a repurposed greenhouse, and the seating is ample enough to stretch out and converse as well as eat.

Very loud. Warning: 21.1% automatic gratuity!? (The pandemic is over Bungalow) Warning 2: 7oz beer pours for some beers = $12 for a very small beer. Good tavern style. However $28 for 16” pepperoni? Remember thats before 21.1% added.

I was pleased with everything about my experience at the Bungalow. I bet the restaurant would be rated much higher if it was a stand alone breakfast spot.

I got the bagel with seeds and a scallion based cream cheese was delicious. You can tell they have their sourdough on point. We also had the maple miso donut, which was great if you can an appreciate a sourdough donut.

5/5! It was great.

Bungalow by Middle Brow offers a fun and casual taproom experience with a variety of pub fare, from breakfast toasts to pizza, paired with their house beers. The atmosphere is funky and lively, making it a great spot for a relaxed outing. Food is solid, though a bit pricey for the portions. Service is generally friendly and attentive. Overall, it’s a good place to enjoy drinks and casual bites in a unique setting.

Best pizza I’ve tried here in Chicago. Flavors are so different and taste home made. Delicious habanero sauce too!

The sourdough pepperoni pizza was pretty good and the beers were good. Had a signature cocktail, it was ok, the strawberry passion fruit kombucha was pretty good

We had a delightful time, eating outdoors and the wonderful patio here. The servers were all fantastic and efficient.

And the food is a 10 – the beer is brewed right here. They make their own wine although we had various beers and the pizza is made of their own dough. I love how the pizza is not stacked with cheese, but has a wonderful grating of thin cheese.

The service was great. We loved all the pizzas especially the sopressata + hot honey. The crust was perfectly toasted for all three. We also liked theself serve vanilla sundae. It didn't taste like the usualy vanilla sundae which made me like it more. It was just a bit loud that night so it was hard to talk to each other on yoir table.

My party of 4 arrived with no reservation and we were placed on the list and welcomed to sit at the bar inside while we waited. We sat and were later told by another hostess that we were not allowed to sit at the bar as those seats were reserved and we had to get up. That was odd to me. They then sat us family style at a long table in the main dining room. The seats are so close together that the person next to me kept elbowing my side when they moved. The music was so loud that my party basically sat in silence the entire dinner as we struggled immensely to hear each other speak. We also weren’t allowed to order off their regular dinner menu as they have a limited Tuesday only menu you have to choose from (our server did not mention this prior to our first attempt at ordering). The pizza took 45-50 mins to arrive and we found it to be very salty and greasy for our taste. They also automatically add a 21.6% gratuity to the bill. Although they were transparent about auto gratuity, 21.6% is a bit much for the service and environment, in my opinion.

Pizza needs salt and the patio needs umbrellas everywhere. Terrible experience eating outside on a beautiful day due to the sun burning us alive. Very nice staff and beautiful space.

We had a sausage and kale tavern style pizza that was tasty but a little on the burnt side. The sour dough was a bit too sour. The service was slow and they tried to charge me for a cocktail that we never got. Oh and get this they charge a 21 percent tip upfront and have the audacity to have an extra tipping option when you check out.
