midway submarine is my favorite sandwich shop in the south side. It is a great Palestinian family owned sandwich shop with delicious subs. I highly recommend the midway sub or the roast beef.

A local neighbor spot. The owner has been there since forever. He is so consistent with his sandwiches and goodness in making food. The owner works just as hard as it's to workers yet treats EVERYONE like his son or daughter. Workers, cashiers are equally, genuinely professional, efficient and treat EVERYONE as if one was spending top dollar at any fine, distinguished steakhouse!! Like this place! Good food, quick! One thing I absolutely Do Not Get! The sign that tells you a bunch of Menus are old--Why are those Menus even sitting out there in the tray? What is the point? I'm in disbelief!!! I like the one female that works in the afternoon. Don't know her name, she might be Romani.
