My wife and I ordered the ribs on a early Saturday evening. They were so tough we both checked to see if we were using the right side of the knife. Brought the issue to the attention of the server and we both tried different dishes. I had the open face prime rib which was good but not great. My wife had the meatloaf, again average but not great. The server took ownership of the issue.

We had not been here in years.we were in the area and I temember their ribs were excellent. Well not last night November 2nd.,2025. We both ordered the same.ordered the same meal, half a slab and the 3 shrimp combo, 2 salads one with ranch dressing and the other with blue cheese. The ribs were dry, overcooked and salty both salad dressings were watery. Award winning NOT anymore! The drink menu at the table was very limited with no creativity. We will not be returning.

The food was fantastic and fairly priced for Chicago. I ordered the mushroom truffle burger, which was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The artichoke dip was rich and delicious … definitely worth trying!

I have never left a review for restaurant in my entire life, I walked in tonight from out of town, asking for a drink, the older Gentlemen behind The bar told me no. (I thought he was joking) I waited five more minutes and he came back. I asked him if I could get a drink now, his response…I’m not clocked in yet. I can’t help you… Shame on you, family business!
