Beautiful atmosphere and seated quickly. The dimsum was okay but the main dish were somewhat lacking. The pork belly with preserved veggies was actually still frozen on the inside but we asked them to heat it up again. Service was friendly.
Dim sum is very good, no wait service is great even though some things they serve are more american-chinese there are plenty of authentic optioms
This restaurant was massive, definitely enough room for larger parties though I went solo. The dim sum menu was extensive and everything I tried was delicious. Staff was attentive and quick, I will definitely be back for a few more orders of those soup dumplings!!
One of my favorite Chinatown places has sites around the city. Streeterville and New Eastside locations are both terrific. Same quality as the original site.
Hands down favorite spot for dim sum in city (head to East Ohio spot - it's much better than the Chinatown spot). There are other MingHins but this is the best for ambience and cleanliness. Service is super efficient - you can even order on an iPad. Food comes quickly - piping hot and fresh.
I am visiting from Atlanta and had been craving Chinese food. I really haven’t had any good Chinese since I was a teen. This was awesome! The food was so well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I went with my boyfriend and we actually got too much food because we didn’t know the portions would be so large. We got baked bbq pork bun and the pork bbq fried rice off the dim sum menu and egg rolls, orange chicken, and general Tao off the dinner menu. Everything was good. I really loved my general Tao with all the bell peppers in it. Really had a great flavor and the meat wasn’t tough like some spots and not fried hard. Some of the pieces kind of felt “naked” which was awesome. I also had the lychee martini. Delicious! And I think my bf got the Thunder punch but I’m unsure. I really have no food complaints.
Good food good service. Wish their pineapple buns had a custard filling vs the egg yolk

Everything we ordered was delicious - congee didn't get watery even towards the end of the meal, duck, BBQ pork, and pork dumplings tasted excellent. Vegetables were crisp and not soggy. Service was prompt and friendly; would definitely come back.

One of the most pleasant dim sum experiences in my life. If you're an introvert but would like to get some dim sum without fighting for a shared table or speaking to a lady with a cart with hidden compartments that don't show what she's offering this has got to be your go to spot.
Some of the best offerings I've had without needing a relative to translate for me.
Order on the tablet with minimal interaction and just wait for the food to arrive. Bliss for me though my wife was probably craving some more interaction so I let her ask for the to go containers.

The place itself looks beautiful. Very modern with eye-catching architecture and lighting fixtures. The staff were friendly and prompt. We ordered off an iPad once we were seated, and we went with the orange chicken and the shumai.
The orange chicken was lacking. A lot of pieces of just batter and no chicken, and the pieces that did have chicken weren’t super seasoned. The sauce itself was doing a lot of carrying taste-wise rather than the chicken itself. The portion was also kind of small for what we paid, while only coming with a single bowl of rice which wasn’t really much for two people. Another bowl costs extra :)
The shumai was fantastic though! Striking flavors with the texture that you know and love.

Positives
It's a beautiful restaurant and the person who greeted me at the front was extremely nice.
The mushroom and pork dumpling was very good
Negatives
I didn't like the beef and noodles or the orange chicken. Both were greasy beyond measure and almost inedible.
I ended up swearing the noodles away after just a few bites.
I would put the entrees at the same level as Panda Cafe.
