Be aware that their hours listed are incorrect. I had went to this place for probably at least 20 years, and after they close down when they were on Milwaukee Avenue, I thought they were gone forever, but I just found out two weeks ago that they re-opened on Elston Avenue not that long after they closed the restaurant on Milwaukee and so I ventured over the air from the suburbs just to get one of their yummy burritos! But today was the second day so far that I have went there in the past week at 11AM or a few minutes before 11AM, and I waited today till 11:20 AM, and still no one was there and they were not open again?? I then called the restaurant right before I got ready to pull away to see if someone might have answered, but their phone rings several times, and then it goes to voicemail that doesn’t say anything, and doesn’t tell you if you’ve reached la Palapita or not? So although their food is pretty good, I don’t know when or if I will travel again from the suburbs and drive 35 to 40 minutes to get there, when they could likely not be open again, despite what their hours say.You guys should really update your hours to the correct hour or so people know when you open and don’t go there expecting to order food, especially for those of us who drive quite a distance to go to your restaurant.

SLEPT ON. This small, innocuous shack on the side of the road is amazing and truly slept on. I'm almost hesitant to write this, because I want this place all to myself. Burritos are not your typical 'full of fillers and veggies', instead it's a flour tortilla stuffed with your filling option (the steak is the juciest of anywhere I've been), cilantro, and onion. That's it.I'll admit, the salsa was a little on the salty side, but for the first time ever, I found myself devouring a burrito without needing a gallon of salsa to enhance the flavor. Everything stood out on its own. I will be back too often. RIP my wallet and diet ?Parking: Small lot that can fill up rather quickly.

The food was aaaa-ok not super delicious to justify the price. First off the menu doesn’t include prices which is the first sign a restaurant is trying to deceive the customers and $4.98 a taco and $20 for a burrito?! That’s loco ??

Best steak tacos around here. There’s usually only one guy working so come with time to spare and patience.

No prices listed. I got the steak burrito with onion and cilantro. The burrito was no bigger than my phone and was almost $16.

Good food and price is okay. Service is fast (less than 10 min for a burrito/plate). Cleanliness could be better, though.

Always good always delicious Most reviews here are of the ignorant people that just are to lazy to cook for themselves. Palapita is a great place with amazing burritos and Tacos

Too expensive for what you get. 20$ for a burrito?! Guac was on one side of the burrito and it wasnt all that. Couldve gone to TBK and gotten the same thing for half the cost. Cant come here again. Menu prices are removed by the way, felt scammed. Tacos are 5$ also. They gotta fix their prices or start making fancy food and be transparent about their prices.Edit: I dont think they understood, im saying their food is TBK quality but double the price. Also every other place can still manage tacos for 3.50-4$ and burritos for 10-13$ so idk what to tell ya from their response. I rarely 1 star anyone. Delusional.

The food was good it's a small business it's expensive cause of fires in Texas so they increased the price I would recommend.

Didn't even get to eat here. Something happened to the menu where there are no chips and guacamole and the prices are suspiciously missing. There is only one worker as well. We left after coming in because this wasn't going to work

I been there before and used to be good and now they have abusive prices $19.00 for a carne asada burrito never again

Their asada is always inconsistent. Ruined my dinners far too often. $5 for a skimpy steak taco? No mms
