Minyoli Reviews
The menu is small but if you are not familiar with Taiwanese flavor profiles (nobody at our table was), it could be difficult to decide what to try. Fortunately the staff is wonderful and patient and very helpful. We had a terrific server, Max, who was very fun and gave us a lot of information then made recommendations that were spot-on. We really enjoyed our meal and the whole dining experience, and will certainly come back to try other dishes.
Mike is hands down the best real estate agent in the greater Chicago area. Moved to the Chicago area blind with no prior information and Mike did an excellent job in helping me find my current home within 1-2 months of me moving here. Great detail in video tours as well for those who are out of state.
We have used Mike three times (first to buy, then to sell, then to buy again). Each time, Mike has provided excellent service.
When purchasing our first house, Mike was able to find us one in our price range in the neighborhood we wanted. Later, when selling that house, his advice and hard work got us an offer above asking in a short amount of time.
For our most recent purchase, we were looking remotely from Denmark, and Mike was amazing with taking time to work...read full review

Minyoli is a delightful Taiwanese noodle spot known for its well-seasoned and perfectly cooked dishes. The menu features a variety of small bites like firm tofu & kombu, tea eggs, and century egg & tofu salad, all celebrated for their rich and subtle flavors. The fried chicken appetizer is particularly memorable, though it leans on the sweeter side and is super good, so much flavor and easy to eat. Main noodle dishes like the sesame noodles are thick, chewy, and delicious, but some may find the broth a bit light and portions small. The beef noodle soup with tendons is fantastic, with the soup excellent and the tendons just melts in your mouth. The beef broth was the best. The brunch menu is also great, with standout items like the chicken and waffle and sandwich bread. Cocktails like Judy's AhYi's Secret and the Taiwanese Old Fashioned are popular, along with simple options like Kavalan whiskey on the rocks. Mocktails like nightmarket fruit stand and sour plum were good and had unique flavors.
The chef/owner also came out to tell us the story of the restaurant. The service is warm and efficient, and the space is beautiful and simply decorated. The modern seating creates a calm yet lively atmosphere. The seasonal patio in back is a delightful spot to enjoy dishes like blanched seasonal greens, sweet corn, tofu, and mushrooms. Past specials like the night-market steak are highly missed. Desserts like black sesame ice cream are not to be missed, though the cheesecake was good but not memorable. Overall, Minyoli offers quality food, excellent service, and a pleasant dining experience in the heart of Andersonville.
