Quick stop for some fries at Mister J’s Dawg “n” Burger. My biggest complaint is the panhandling going on in front of the restaurant. They are open late on the weekends for late night cravers.

So so so good. Had the Italian beef and a Polish Chicago dog. Best I had while I was there from all the places I tried.

Since 1965. Fast service and we got steak sandwich and Italian sausage. I I went back for an Italian beef. It was amazing. The bread was so soft and soaked in grease and pepper juice and the kk meat juice. This has saved trip so far for rating. Fck yes.
Who remembers the Dagwood burger from the 1980’s? Charbroiled, melted cheese, sauerkraut, onions, bright green relish, oval shaped pickle slices, and vibrant sport peppers on a slightly grilled bun? You can still pretty much order it that way and it’s still the best burger in town. Who else is still doing charbroiled burgers and chicken, anyway?
Amazing food for a great price!
Wheelchair accessibility: Store may be a bit narrow for wheel chair users.

The reason I love this place isn't for elegance or high quality, but because of it's practicality. It's the most affordable compared to other burger joints in the area and you get an alright burger in 5 minutes. It never seems to be that busy which is also a plus. It's giving diner vibes. But if you want something that's gonna be so amazing or so yummy spend the extra $5 and go somewhere else.

Ordered a chicken Philly, worse sandwich I ever had, complete dry, it tasted terrible. Ordered a pizza puff too, very very dry, it was fried to crisp. I have eaten here at least 10 times and each time is worse and worse.

Less than $7 for a Chicago dog with everything on it...really can't complain. I inhaled it as soon as no one was around me. 🌭

Good grub for a grease joint. Prices up the since it's downtown. Can get the same from Dennis in Little Village for half the price. But with the wife and daughter in the hospital. Quick and convenient .
