I'm Somali and this was the first time I had Somali Anjera in a long-time, it gave me nostalgia.
Thanks for Hassan for being awesome.

I was slightly skeptical until I had one bite of the lamb shank. Life changing.

I honestly don’t know how this place is even open. The food was absolutely terrible — overcooked, bland, and somehow underseasoned at the same time. Every bite was a disappointment.
And then there’s the guy — tall, wearing glasses, acting like he’s the king of the universe. He was incredibly disrespectful, snapping at staff and giving patrons the coldest, rudest stares. You’d think he was personally responsible for the food disaster, and maybe he was.
If you want bad food served with an extra side of attitude, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far away
Delicious, Fantastic quality ingredients, and super welcoming environment. Highly recommend

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The food was poor and the restaurant wasn’t clean, but what shocked me most was the manager’s behavior. He was openly disrespectful — raising his voice at staff in front of paying customers, ignoring diners who were trying to get his attention, and showing no concern for how this looked. It created a very hostile and uncomfortable atmosphere.their price are inconsistent depending on who the cashier is..
A manager should set the tone for professionalism and respect, but here it was the opposite. Between the dirty setting, bad food, and the manager’s lack of basic courtesy, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

The lamb shank (#22) is juicy, tender, and extremely delicious. It came with a generous portion of biryani rice, vegetables, and beans. Perfection!!

Small restaurant that is serving delicious and plentiful platters. Unfortunately missed out on the anjera but the beef steak with rice and lentils was incredible.

The food was good and workers were friendly. The interior can get a little crowded though if you're thinking of dining in.

Stopped by Mogadishu Restaurant for lunch and left pretty happy. Dropped about $20 on the Somali mixed plate—tender goat, spicy beef, fluffy rice & stewy veggies. Portions were legit huge, I left full. Staff was warm and chill, place is laid-back, but I’ll say it got a bit noisy. Still, solid spot for comfort food—definitely coming back for dinner to try the camel. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Man, this spot hits hard. Spent like $18 and got the goat with rice—meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, rice was hella flavorful, and they hook you up with this banana on the side that weirdly just works. Portions are wild generous, like you’ll def have leftovers. Super chill vibe, no frills, just straight-up amazing Somali food. If you know, you know. I’m 100% coming back.
