I am a Kiwi so admit to bias. But honestly this was what I had been looking for. Best coffee in Chicago hands down.

Lovely staff! The menu is pretty minimal and basic, but still tasty. The banana & blueberry bread was spot on. They offer WiFi and there’s plenty of single and group seating options, as well as outside seating.

Small coffee cafe with some hot food items, pastries, and pour overs.
There's a decent amount of seating and service was pretty quick.
Both the pour over and muffin I got were very good.

The coffee was decent, but the pricing felt off. I paid $5 for a small latte, and it was barely bigger than a kid’s size. On top of that, the froth wasn’t great—lacking that smooth, creamy texture. Just something to keep in mind!

Was an extremely disappointing experience. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant and a mocha latte. There wasn’t many people - but my order took 15 minutes, which is fine but at the same time not okay with the quality of the beverage and food given to me. The beverage was lukewarm, not even hot. The one of the worst feelings is leaving a coffee shop and drinking your coffee which isn’t even hot. Also, the ham and cheese croissant took forever which I don’t get, if it was heated up—make sense but it was cold. That came out after my coffee. Worth the $14 and change? Absolutely not.

You know, I’m really not one to write reviews, but sometimes something strikes you so hard you just have to. I used to come in a lot last winter. I always loved seeing all the employees laughing and having a good time together and getting to join in and have a bit of conversation to start my morning. Now, the water has gone cold. It feels chilly in there, no one talks anymore. I get asked how I am still, but no laughter. The flat white is still good though. I just wonder what happened.

Nice coffee place, I enjoyed the green tea and food is pretty good as well. Price is a bit steep especially for the food. Flat white is good and seems authentic, but I'm not Australian so take that with a grain of salt. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Wonderfully welcoming staff and absolutely amazing coffee. REAL coffee, as if it was made in Italy.
