Beautiful sweet shop in South Loop. They offer more than cupcakes like cheesecakes, cake pops, and cookies. I ordered 4 filled cupcakes, which was about $20 with tax.

The cupcakes are beautiful and they were tasty. I had the raspberry and cream, lava red velvet, blueberry cheesecake, and strawberry shortcake cupcakes. All were delicious.

I love cake! I can’t explain it, I just do. I visited Chicago for the first time with some friends and we saw this place and I just knew I had to get a cupcake. Unfortunately this place missed the mark for me. The vanilla cupcake tasted like flavored cornbread and I could actually taste the butter in the buttercream. Not enough sugar. So basically a cornbread muffin with creamy butter! Not good at all! The red velvet was ok but I had to create my own just to have the cake and cream cheese icing without all the extras.

So I️ left Carson’s Ribs to go to Mollys Cupcakes. This blueberry cheesecake cupcake was calling my name……. Eating this cupcake was like the best orgasm ever. I️ was thinking to myself why didn’t you get 2????? THIS CUPCAKE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST CUPCAKE EVER. THE CHEESE TO BLUEBERRY TO GOLDEN GRAHAM TO CUPCAKE RATIO IS SIMPLY PERFECTION. IM IN LOVE🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

These are not better than Sprinkles… huge disappointment. If they didn’t have the flavored fillings, they would have no flavor at all. We purchased 4 cupcakes, and they were somehow oily and dry. The frosting was a strange whip cream that had no flavor and almost had a buttery texture. We also chose 1 crème brûlée, and the sugar crust was burnt tasting. The fresh berries on top were at least a saving grace. It’s a cute little cupcake shop and the people who work the counter are sweet, but these aren’t worth the money. I’m convinced the people who love them don’t have much to compare to. Maybe we went to the wrong location? Maybe others are better? Not sure.

perfectttt sweet treat option. lots of seating available inside but just as easy to take these to go as they package them up nicely. they even have a sink inside to wash sticky hands! so many options to choose from, and not only do they have cupcakes but other treats and coffee/tea as well. lots of flavor options and you can build your own as well! i got the samoa and i want to try the dubai chocolate!

Stopped by Molly’s Cupcakes and had the best experience! Angelina helped me with several dozen cupcakes for an event and was incredibly patient, kind, and upbeat the entire time. She made the whole process easy and fun, and her great attitude seriously made my day. The cupcakes were a hit, and the service was even better. Can’t wait to come back!

Although they have vegan cupcake options, the flavor and presentation is uninspired, sadly. Red velvet has no hint of chocolate and was a dense cold stump dyed with food coloring and a dollop of frosting. Meh.

Molly’s Cupcakes is a must for any dessert lover! The churro cupcake is hands-down my favorite—cinnamon-sugar perfection with a gooey center that tastes just like a warm churro. It’s a whole experience in a bite! 🧁🔥

They also have so many other flavors to choose from, whether you’re into fruity, chocolatey, or something more classic. The shop itself is super cute and cozy, and the staff is always helpful and welcoming.

Whether you're grabbing one or a box full, Molly’s never misses!

I Got the dubai chocolate and the creme brulee cupcakes. They have a great flavor but they were very crumbly...completely fell apart.

If I could give this location zero stars I would. The manager would not entertain my order for 2 dozen mini cupcakes for a business function. The individual I spoke with on the phone tried to help but didn’t have all the info. She reached out to ”her manager” who didn’t try to help with my order. Horrible customer service by “the manager.” Don’t waste your time or money.

Stopped in because we were walking by. The place had a great Vibe. The cookie with pistachio frosting was amazing. I would make it a destination next time I am in Chicago.

Noticed that the Dubai cupcake was advertised stating raspberry drizzle. I asked and was told the bakers didnt add the top drizzle but it might be inside in addition to pistachio filling but no. It was dry and desperate need of the raspberry fruit drizzle to make it floavorful/stand out. I had to take some of the cherries off the cheesecake to help with the dryness. Would not recommend. A lot of other cupcakes were advertised with a fruit drizzle or filling but they were not added. If something is missing from the desserts then the price should be marked down. Customers are paying for the full experience/flavor.

I’m a big fan of Molly’s Cupcakes! Their cupcakes are some of the most delicious I’ve had—moist on the inside, never dry, and not overly sweet, which I really appreciate.

However, the staff didn’t seem very friendly or happy, which took away from the experience a bit. Still, the cupcakes themselves are fantastic
