We have been eating at Mon Ami since I was a trainee in Chicago in the early 2000's. An eternal favorite and still perfect after all these years, a true classic.

One of my fav restaurants in the city! Cozy atmosphere. Always great service. Amazing French wine selections. Terrific Caesar salad. By far the best Pom frites. Whether salmon or steak- Consistently delicious. And the profiteroles are like being in Paris. Best French restaurant in Chicago!

We really didn’t enjoy our experience here. Despite making a reservation, there was a 30 minute wait. The service was really poor and felt rushed. On top of that, my steak was overcooked. I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

Celebrated our 2nd anniversary here and had a wonderful evening. The food was cooked perfectly, full of flavor, reasonable portions, and came out quickly. All of the staff were intentional and extremely kind - everyone we interacted with was very welcoming. We had Liz as our server, and she made sure to celebrate our milestone with us! She was so sweet, helpful, and attentive! She even brought us champaign and a desert at the end of our meal - so thoughtful. Overall, we had a great experience and are planning on returning again very soon!

The food was outstanding! Our server was great. The bus boy was impeccable. The prices are fair. We had a great experience and plan on coming back.

Food was mediocre at best, we had to return the mussels due to the taste, and the main plates came out so late we asked to have them boxed so we could leave. The wine selection that our server, who was nice and attentive, was good. Not sure why they have such a high rating.

We came here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was such a wonderful experience! The staff made us feel special right from the start and they even surprised us with complimentary champagne. The hangar steak was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, the drinks were delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive all night. We couldn't have asked for a better evening. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

We had a very lovely autumn dinner last night. The highlight of the evening was the outstanding service provided by our server, Liz. She was extremely warm and professional, and she understood and respected our pace. We enjoyed the delicious Beef Wellington special, as well as pommes purée and escargot. All in all, it was a special and memorable evening. We can't wait to return and we will definitely request Liz again!
