One of the best restaurant experiences overall I've had in downtown Chicago. We celebrated my boyfriends birthday and all the staff seemed alerted about it and gave us a free dessert. Definitely will be going back! ??
I've been to a couple afternoon teas and for what you pay, this one really isn't worth it. The server should explain the process and what is offered. When it's a standard service and there's only one piece of everything offered, it should come out pretty quick if that's the experience you've reserved. The ambiance is great, the staff are professional and friendly. But the high tea itself was average, not very authentic. I'm from the UK. I'd expect far more savoury snacks, like plain authentic scones with grated cheese, etc. This high tea was almost entirely sweet sugary snacks, with but a few sandwiches as the only savoury thing.
