Building is super cool. A rustic, charming pub with stained glass fixtures and germanic styling.
Service was friendly - sat at the bar.
The fish and chips - at only 16 bucks its hard to be too harsh (considering location). Fries were good, fish was very boxed-fishstick tasting (aka gross).
People did seem to be enjoying their burgers so many go for that. Dont recommend the dish I got, but the beer was good and service was nice.

Ordered the Monkburger ($15) with Swiss and mushrooms, and it was legit one of the best bar burgers I’ve had downtown. Paired it with a Weihenstephaner hefeweizen ($8), which fit the vibe perfectly. Service was quick, and even though it gets packed during happy hour, it never feels too rowdy. If you’re looking for a solid burger, good beer, and a chill atmosphere, this is your spot!
