Really cool atmosphere. Good choice of beers. Didn't try the food.

Outside of the large beer selection and cool atmosphere, this was awful. Spent over $120+tip for 3 people (only 2 adult beverages) to not finish one item. Chilli had no topping and it looked, tasted, and smelled gross. The fish, fries & tater tots were all dry and way over cooked, cauliflower wings were the worst we ever had. Waitress brought out all the food at once - no reguard for spacing and had no problem taking nearly full plates back without even blinking an eye.
Spend your money elsewhere and then come only for the beverages.

Great pub. Feels like I'm in England. Only complaint was that the apps we got were not good. The pickle fries were somehow burnt and soggy and the hummus was ok but with it was just bland cheap untoasted pita bread and a couple carrots/celery on wilted lettuce. And it was like $14 for that. I'd go back for a drink but probably not food.

This is one of those super Chicago places that you have always seen and probably never stepped into. It's been in downtown so long, it's become wallpaper. It's a place I know I always saw at the last minute, and kept walking, until yesterday. And holy cow this place is awesome. The staff is nice. The atmosphere is just old and fun and so much to look at. The decor is establishments now is usually minimal which means boring to me. But this place feels like an old Monks cellar, a book area, barrels in the sky, wooden rafters. It's genuinely a cute place. And the food was excellent. One downside is the annoying thing of making you scan a QR code to look at a beer list. There are some of us that don't want or need to be attached to our phones all the time. Asode from that, this place was awesome, highly recommend.

We got there late so we stopped for a few drinks. They have a wonderful beer selection with many imports you don't see very often. The service was excellent and I loved the decor with old beer taps and what seemed like antique light fixtures though out the bar area.

The worse service I have ever received in Chicago in 15 years. We came 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and we were aware to order right away food and drinks and we did. The server greeted us with “ oh you must be one of those”. I laughed thinking Dash H was joking. He was serious. While 3 of us were already done eating and drinking in 20minutes and one was finishing up, Dash came and put the receipt down. We gave $0 tip. Dash picked up the check and came back screaming at us saying he was really nice to us. I explained I work in customer service and this is not how you treat customers. He said “this is bullshit and I am going to rush you even more and take the plate from you”. Dash then told the manager who came and give us the middle finger. Again, in 15 years, I have never experienced such a disservice.
Dash if you read this review, just know this: I worked as a server, I now work in customer service, I encounter and talk to people every day. I know how you might feel when customers walk in 10 minutes before the kitchen closes. This does not allow you to treat customers like garbage. Don’t ever disrespect customers telling them “you must be one of those”, even if that s what ran into your mind at the moment.
Next time, be nice, it’s free
