Very nice experience. You pick your choice of ingredients and you cook it in a hot pot at your table. Select mild as hot is very hot and we enjoy spice but it was more than expected. Enjoy!

Ordered DoorDash to try. Bad decision. Spent $27 on half duck which was only 7 pieces and def wasn't half a duck. Mooshu pork came with horrible thick tortillas. I'm beating myself up on trying this one.

I ordered beef fried rice which was $9 plus $4 for the beef so total $13 plus tip came to $15. There was barely any beef, if I got any. It was the larger size but never again and it was over priced. However, they were nice.

I ordered the general jones' wings (not spicy), beef chow fun, shredded pork/chives/tofu, and pan fried pork buns.Everything tasted great as expected but the shredded pork was the all-star that I couldn't stop eating. I forgot to take pictures until I already started eating.

I think I have a new favorite Chinese takeout spot! The Xiao Long Bao were delicious and succulent. The Schwezan Style green beans were so good. We ordered Moon Palace Chicken which was really spicy, rich and unique. We eat plenty of Chinese takeout and we’re so thrilled to have discovered Moon Palace!

My first and only time I'm to frequent this Chinese Food establishment. The welcome was poorly handled; as if we'd arrived at the most inappropriate time. The counter lady was curt and noticeably agitated; at our inability to quickly grasp their 6-sided oversized menu. The bouncer, I now wonder if he was really needed, incoherently mumbled what sounded to be a reiteration of no inside dining available.I ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken and my friend chose Orange Chicken. After a 15 minute return drive to my apartment, upon sitting down to eat, I found my chicken to be simply adequate. What wasn't anywhere near adequate, or sufficient, was the accompanying amount of mixed bell pepper/pineapple/sauce mix. I wound up dicing the peppers to scarcely accommodate the large size container for my order. My friend's complaint was having his Orange Chicken prepared in the style of General Taos; spicy with a a kick to it. Especially when such wasn't annotated on the menu.

I honestly think this is the best Chinese food! Everything is tasty! Usually I stick to the save the dishes but everything I try on this menu is delicious!

Over priced food with very little portions. I literally got 5 pieces of chicken in my orange chicken meal. I asked for extra sauces and was told no because I have enough already. Never coming here again.

Best Orange Chicken ever, even though that's not authentic food. Get a hot and sour soup, potsticker, plus an order of orange chicken will be a good meal in any day.

I love this place and have been a customer for over 30 years. We made it a point to continue to patronize them during the Covid lockdown. Moon Palace has always been consistently good - but in 2022, something has happened to its food quality. Their formerly excellent potstickers are now merely average or a little below. The flavor of Beloved dishes has gone from excellent to lackluster. Did you lose your kitchen staff? What has happened? I’m heartbroken. Please fix what broke. I want to be a happy Moon Palace customer again.

The worse Singapore noodles I’ve ever had the noodles was dry and stuck together and no favor. I will never ever go back there.

Damn shame what this place has become and now is. Their story on their website is incomplete, because they were once across the street, right on the corner on the second floor. You walked up a flight of stairs. Their food was mind blowing, of course different than the typical Cantonese Style fare that was usually common in Chinatown for decades. The Hot-Sour Soup, the Potstickers which also went by another name (Kwo Te?) were to die for. Optional Chow Fun Noodles could be ordered, either plain or flavored with Soy Sauce, both superb. When they then crossed the street next to the Firehouse, they were still very good, and great for a good number of years, and I cannot tell you how many times I had dined there. Then about 2-1/2 years ago went, in hopes of enjoying a similar experience, and nope, nothing like it once was. Everything I ate, that I once used to order was sub par, not even slightly the same as before. I suspect everything changed, except for the one daughter who I did recognize from so many years back. And from a extremely enjoyable meal that used to cost me about $24-$25, went to an un-enjoyable one at double the price. And now this, some bubble tea take out joint? As I see it, this is what the younger generations have done, they've destroyed and cheapened what was once outstanding, to less than a mere shadow of what once was. Don't believe that this is now how it is, that times have changed. BS I say. Places like this should now die a quick death and be gone. You've turned the other way, cheapened and defiled what was once a great family legacy and a very good restaurant. Chinatown, like others across this city, Greektown, German-Town on Lincoln Ave, is sadly a shadow, and it's a just a lose-lose situation. My predictions: Moon Palace will soon fold permanently. Deservedly so.

I've been going to the Palace for decades & have actually brought an Academy Awards winner & a few other famous people there. In my opinion it's the best place going where there's many good places. Food has always been fabulous & I will continue to go this amazing restaurant.
