When was the last time you took your knife and fork cut a piece of a pancake and it was love at first bite? Well for me it was Saturday morning at Moon's Sandwich Shop and the hockey puck sized pork sausages were fantastic!! I can't wait to go back and try the corned beef sandwich

I Door Dashed two corned beef sandwiches. Usually some of the best sandwiches in Chicago. The corned beef was extremely chewy and the texture was fatty to say the least. Not sure what happened. Are things that bad where we can't get a decent sandwich anymore?

I’ll never go here again , wanted breakfast took them over 30mins to give me my food when I ordered 20mins before , eggs was good , sausage was nasty and over cooked watched them reheat it , grits are beyond disgusting overly thick & no salt or pepper so it’s thick and no flavor & gritty , only thing good was my toast , I’ll never come here again , overly crowded & recook and heat food when it sits out for to long

I had high hopes for Moon's, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I ordered the corned beef sandwich for $15.95 and a side of fries. The sandwich was underwhelming; the corned beef lacked flavor and was served lukewarm. The rye bread was soggy, and the mustard didn't help much. However, the fries were crispy and well-seasoned, offering a satisfying crunch. For the price, I expected better quality and taste.

The food is good but cooks are not practicing sanitation , they’re cooking with no gloves on and no hairnets. I ordered breakfast from them in person and Uber eats and found strings of hair weave in my food it was disgusting to see and a waste of money. It happened twice I no longer will be eating from this place. Then crackheads always blocking the walkway trying to sell stuff the environment isn’t the safest.

can’t read menu to know if I want to order or not. Too much glare on it. Cannot tell what they are selling or the prices.
The scrambled eggs were from real eggs, not a carton!! And the pancakes were delicious. My kid had a breakfast sandwich & it looked excellent, too. The coffee was good. Less expensive than any chain and much better quality. Atmosphere, no AC, but the staff was super professional, welcoming, and efficient. I'd definitely go there again.
