I came for a cinnamon roll but they were sold out so I did an impulsive pivot to a “cali breakfast burrito”. It was the best breakfast burrito I’ve had since moving away from LA. Great customer service with a staff that seems really engaged in the community. Can’t wait to return.
Update: Less stars based on the owner’s response (not surprised by previous reviews and expected the ignorant attitude from the owner). By the time I realized the cup was broken, I was already home and coffee leaked all over my car & coat. What was I supposed to do by then - walk or drive back to the location and have it leak all over again to clean up another mess? My suggestion to this establishment: owner needs to be professional and take criticism as part of owning a business (like double checking paper cups or maybe placing the paper cups on another location so they don’t get damaged - crazy concept, right?). My money will be used at other local (and better) coffee shops who truly care about their community members. Part of owning is taking criticism - not everything is perfect - and I wasn’t even that critical - and I could have been since the drinks are not really great and not worth the $$ imo.
Atmosphere is nice and drinks are okay but after paying almost $10 on a coquito latte, I was served with a broken paper cup so my drink was leaking all over the place.
As a certified breakfast-sandwich girly, let me tell you…they do not miss. The sandwiches hit every time, and the coffee is smooth and comforting, the perfect match on the side.
Do yourself a favor and stop by for some insanely delicious eats and a cozy cup of something good. You won’t regret it. ☕
And pro tip: follow them on Instagram—they drop while-supplies-last secret menu items you don’t want to sleep on.

The menu offers a great mix of breakfast favorites, creative lunch options, and delicious pastries — all made with fresh ingredients and a thoughtful touch. The coffee is rich and smooth, clearly crafted with care, and pairs beautifully with their baked goods. The space itself is warm and inviting, with a relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for catching up with friends, studying, or just enjoying a quiet moment with a great cup of coffee.

The owners and staff are all so kind and welcoming. They really cultivate that neighborhood/community feel. The food is incredible and the lattes are great! Bonus is that there are a ton of gluten free options, too.

Love, love, love the banana bread latte and the almond croissant. I’ve had other stuff on the menu too(actual food not just pastries) and everything has been delicious.

Chicago does not patron those who don’t appreciate our patronage. The owner needs basic customer service lessons - simply look at how they speak to customers who have mild issues in reviews and decide if this is an establishment worth your hard earned money.
This café is small but cozy with a good vibe, and everything they sell is delicious and the coffee is high quality.

Moonwalker is our favorite neighborhood cafe! They have the best sandwiches both for breakfast and lunch and such delicious lattes, the banana bread latte is to die for. All only made better by their incredible staff!

This is one of my favorite places in the city! The owners and everyone who works there are so nice, and the food and drinks are INCREDIBLE. Get the banana bread latte, it will change your life. The brunch bagel and meat loaf sandwich are my go-tos, food-wise. This is where I take out-of-town friends to try to convince them to move to Chicago. Until then, more Moonwalker for me!
P.S. pro tip: when I'm in a rush, I place my order in advance over the Eate app so it's there waiting for me when I arrive!
