Caesar salad was excellent. Half chicken... good fav/ nice and smoky. Mushroom skewers excellent. Gnocchi was pretty good... I love vodka sauce but I am not raving about this one, the gnocchi itself was excellent... could of used some fresh ground pepper or Parm maybe but not offered. Also, my SB was from Fennville, no thank you. Maybe an upgrade to your wine menu?

We went here since it was close to our hotel. I had the walleye and ceaser salad both delicious. My husband tried the hanger steak which was very chewy and he didn't like it. It looked like the server spoke to a manager , but no one came to our table to check. Service was very slow, my husband asked for dessert as I asked for the check he had the Cracker Jack dessert, which was tasty. Would I return . Yes. I did enjoy my dinner and location is a plus.

As always, enjoyed our time gazing at Wrigley! The cocktails and food were amazing, but despite the space being slow, the service was as well. Chefs and bartenders are always on point here. Servers not up to level that they should be.

This place is a Wrigleyville gem if you're looking for something other than a sportsbar burger/beer situation. The cocktail menu is quietly outstanding and the food and service do not disappoint! Don't skip the tiramisu!

Great vibe. The drink menu is extensive, including wine and “vintage spirits,” which was cool. The Brussel Sprouts, hanger steak, and the chicken friend chicken were great.

From our drinks to dessert everything was wonderful! The Valentine's Day special Cupidity cocktail and Negroni w/ heart shaped ice cube were great. Nathan was our server who was so nice, personable and knowledgable! Picked out a great wine to go with our dinner. Started w/ a light and not overpowering Caeser Salad. We had a Valentine's Day special - the porterhouse for 2 and was delicious! Cooked to perfection and so tasty! It came with a side of great garlic mashed potatoes. Had tiramisu for dessert and was great as well. Can't beat Mordacai for a solid meal, great ambience and right across the street from Wrigley Field!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner and it was the perfect atmosphere to celebrate Valentine's Day. Their variety of delicious cocktails is fantastic.

Was really excited for Valentines dinner, and was disappointed. It wasn't terrible, but it was not good. Upon arrival we were told we had a time limit of 1.5hrs, which is completely fine. Until.. we were encouraged to order all dishes at once, which is not an issue at all. However, while every table around had their dishes coursed out, all 4 of our dishes came out at once. The waygu tartare had no flavor, the potato gnocchi was almost too salty to eat, and the Ceasar salad looked like it came from a grocery store bag kit. The saving grace was the burger and fries. Waiter was friendly, but it really seemed like the kitchen was pushing food as fast as possible to turn over tables. Probably won't be back.

Well, what a warm welcome that wasn’t. We walked into this place for the first time, lured by the promise of their all-day happy hour plastered all over social media. Curious, we asked to see the happy hour menu—nothing wrong with wanting to know the hype, right?

Apparently, asking about happy hour is a social faux pas here, as we were met with enough attitude to rival a fashion week runway. After handing us the menu (with an eye-roll thrown in for good measure), they proceeded to ignore us for 15 solid minutes. Other tables got enthusiastic service and attention, while we were treated like we’d asked for a free meal.

Eventually, we decided to splurge on some $17 Old Fashioneds… except, wait, we’d actually need someone to serve them. So after realizing we’d been ghosted, we walked right back out. Cheers to great service—elsewhere.

My fiance took me here before a Get Up Kids show at the Metro and we really enjoyed it. We started with curry mussels, they were soaking in a yellow gingery coconut curry with a nice hunk of warm crusty bread. Our friendly waiter actually showed us the best way to eat mussels (by using an empty mussel shell like as tongs to scoop out the mussel), this was neat as I love mussels and order them often. For my main I ordered the Mordecai burger that comes with beef fat fries and holy cow it was amazing. Probably one of the best burger and fries I've ever had. The burger was served medium and topped with smoked gouda and bacon jam and the fries were super crispy and flavorful. My fiance ordered the pea pesto gnocchi, I'm not a huge fan of gnocchi but it was very mild and green. I definitely reccommend Mordecai and would like to visit again when I'm in the area.

Great food. Ambiance excellent. It was a quiet Friday evening the window booth were open with a gentle breeze on a temperate evening, the mushroom skewer was wonderful as well as their craft nonalcoholic Birdie cocktail.

Often, places next to large sports venues are pretty disappointing, but that is not the case here. The food was fantastic as were the cocktails.

Brandon, our server was outstanding. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, and I've seen a lot of companies that have some shallow promise of exceeding your expectations. With Mordecai, that's far from the case. No empty promises here, just greatness. The drinks were honestly the most well crafted cocktails I think I've ever had. I will return, and I will look for Brandon again. This gentleman is very knowledgeable, and the quality of his service is a rare find.
