The food was excellent. Our server was superb! The drink were a little pricey, but that's true for any nice restaurant these days. Whenever we are in Wrigleyville, Mordecai is our go to restaurant.
We stopped in for a late night drink (so no food actually). Excellent service, large selection of whiskeys and cocktails from which to select. I received outstanding advice on which bourbon to use for my Manhattan, and server was friendly and knowledgeable. Recommended by Whiskey Advocate magazine, and very much worth stopping in for a visit!
The drinks and food are always on point here! It's a great place to grab a drink that's not a sticky floored bar in Wrigley!
I love to hit Mordecai before Cubs games. The staff is excellent, Their menu is short, efficient and delicious. It is all very reasonably priced. You simply can't beat it for a quick bite before the ballgame. Additionally the mixologist are talented and very accommodating.
Really delicious food. We had buffalo burrata, focaccia, lobster, and smoked ribeye. It was all excellent, and the service was very attentive. We sat in the front window on a gorgeous evening, and the ambiance was stellar!
Highly recommend! The atmosphere was fun looking out at historic Wrigley Field! The food was amazing. Large portions and homemade pasta and sauces. Delicious! We will be eating here again. Our server Landon was a delight! Very attentive and professional.
Mordecai has really changed over the last year, and unfortunately it has become a disappointment. For a 7:30 PM reservation, our table was told only a few menu items were available, and that a larger party was being prioritized by the kitchen. After ordering and waiting forty minutes for our food, we were told we wouldn't get our orders because the kitchen didn't have any. The wait staff is always lovely. However, the food quality has drastically altered.
Restaurant was empty- came for happy hr to try the place- they would Only serve us at bar for happy hour. Falafel was dry, oysters had no flavor, tasted like they were rinsed with water. Sauce for polenta fries was just ok so I asked for marinara and it came 20 minutes later when I was done and fries were cold. Will not go back. Also, waitress with empty hands walking toward me made me move out of her way instead of stepping aside when I was headed back to my seat from bathroom. Rude.
Cozy, sophisticated, charming atmosphere. The bar was full and several tables were busy but not packed. We were able to hear & have a conversation without speaking over others. Server was attentive. Food was delicious. Drinks were good. Price seemed standard for the area. We would eat here again.
The hostess was exceptional and accommodating - she helped with a last minute change. The server was amazing!!! Funny too. The manager came around to make sure all was well. They had a great whisky flight! We had soo much fun!

Had the fried trout and it was amazing! The three finger old fashioned had the perfect flavor! The service was great!
Great neighborhood spot, with super friendly staff.
I've had dinner or drinks at this place multiple times and have always enjoyed my experience. The food selection has always been nice, the drinks are some of the best, and the staff is always super friendly. Definitely stop by this place if you are in the neighborhood—it's well worth it.

Food and drinks are always fantastic. We all got the Mordecai burger which is 2nd to none and the cheese curds. Our service was great!
Grabbed food at the bar before a Cubs game - high end sandwich fare and a proper cocktail! It was perfect.
Loved the Meatball smash burger. Very unique dish. Great place to grab lunch or dinner while in Wrigley for a Cubs Game
