Our server Charles was AMAZING!!! Thank you for being so attentive to our business dinner.
We started by waiting at least 15 minutes after ordering our wine and appetizers to then have the appetizer delivered and to be told they weee out of the wine choice. The manager said he would then return with our 2nd choice of wine but did not return for at least 15 more minutes we waited as long as we could before giving up and finally eating our now cold oysters Rockefeller which was good but very disappointing because no wine yet and now cold. We then received our wedge salad which we requested to split it was brought out I split and we were given 2 small plates to split ourselves. The edges was very large crisp and extremely delicious. We then received our filet and lobster entree my wife's was cooked perfectly mine however was ordered rare but it was a raw red and slightly gray on the outside and purple and raw completely it was also the tail end of the tenderloin which was disappointing for Morton's . I had to go get the manager to take it back as no server in sight and when I waved at 2 others they just passed us by just like they did when I had to go find my own pepper for the salad. The manager took my whole plate brought back the same steak with a few grill marks on the outside along with the same now cold lobster tail and asparagus. Then the server dropped the check and we paid when she returned she left with no pen for me to sign and promptly disappeared again. I then had to go retrieve a pen from the manager. He then was talking and laughing about the situation with our server by the kitchen pass thru and she walked by our table and stated I heard I didn't leave you a pen. I would have expected more than this for a 400 dollar dinner for 2
Thank you. This was a very good meal, service was friendly and efficient and you treated me so nicely on my birthday. Much appreciated.
Celebrated our anniversary and it was well Worth the visit! Staff was accommodating and great! Food was savory and delicious!
I asked for a booth and they didn't give me what I requested. They told me I had to sit in the bar area because of a “dress code” but I was dressed business casual. Someone came in right behind me with gym shoes and they let them sit in the dining area instead of the bar.
We were there to celebrate my work anniversary and a co-worker's birthday. The service, food and ambience were wonderful. Thank you for helping to make this occasion one to remember for all of us.
Filets were great. Save room for cake and pie- both great. Liked our server but ancillary staff could have been better
We had a Morton's where we live but it closed. Visiting Chicago gave us a chance to go. It was perfect! Great food and waiter. Even though it was full, you could still easily converse. Can't wait to go back!
Excelente opción de carnes en Chicago..... un muy agradable ambiente y excelente sabor y cocción de la carne

I use to come to Morton's frequently and typically have a good experience. Yesterday , the Walker location was hit with a wave of unplanned visitors from Ireland and the kitchen and bar struggled. It took 30 minutes for an Old Fashion and our steak was overcooked and tough. Customer service was good and the waitress was apologetic. BUT when someone pays $140 for a steak and waits 1.5 hours to receive it, it needs to be correct the first time.
The quality of meat has really really dropped! The New York strip had a terrible texture ,plus the lobster tail edition came out cold . The lighting was very bright and uninviting. It was very crowded so the servers were overwhelmed. Bottom line, there are many many amazing steak restaurants in Chicago. Sadly, Morton's is no longer one of them.
I had dined at Morton's years ago and had a wonderful experience, this time, not so much. In fairness, there was some type of event happening in the city, and the restaurant was absolutely packed with what appeared to be a very large party/team? The service was average at best, slow, had to wait for the soy sauce for the dumplings - which we had specifically asked for upfront, did not check on us in the middle of the meal, brought our appetizer at the same time as the rest of our meal, etc. Again, they were crazy busy, so I'm sure it was hard to keep up. The food was average, especially for the price. The ribeye was chewy and uninspiring, the chicken was just not good - also chewy and weirdly textured and the baked potato was not done to our request, and had to be sent back. I remember thinking the steaks at Morton's were some of the best I've ever had but this time around they were overpriced and really just average. For the price point, there are other steakhouses I would choose in Chicago.
First time here, the service was amazing, we expected a little more out of the food but wasn't bad. Prefer some char on the steak which that and the crab cakes lacked a little flavor. We would go here again. They went out of their way to make our anniversary a great night
The bone in rib eye was delicious!
