Expected a bit more for the price. One of our party ordered a ribeye which contained a large amount of gristle. The waitress (unknowingly) spilled sauce on my pants when clearing plates from the table. Not tragic and I didn't mention it to her but, again, I expected more of this restaurant.

We were celebrating our anniversary which I mentioned on the reservation and they personalized the experience for us which was very nice. From the hostess to our server Alex everyone was very nice. The food was very fresh and delicious.

We chose a high top table in lounge area since we arrived in Chicago earlier than expected. We had Luis as our server who was also the bartender. The service Luis provided was top notch. He was very attentive to all the tables he had while also providing bar tender service to the restaurant. His Manhattan was spot on and all the food was superior. Been too Mortons in downtown Chicago a few times and I have never been disappointed, but last night was a top notch experience

The juiciest steak,hands down. I am very sad i wasnt able to actually take a picture of the best steak ever but it was definitely worth it. Atmosphere was okay,music can be more modestly louder but it was fine. Service was top notch. Will definitely be back.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 10 year anniversary, we went to Chicago and chose Morton’s for our anniversary dinner. We live in Nashville which has a Morton’s so it felt funny choosing it, but when trying to choose I was overwhelmed with recommendations and reviews, there’s so much to choose from and I’m pescatarian and my hubby is a steak guy so I wanted options for us both. We decided to make reservations at Morton’s, we’ve always had positive experiences at ours in Nashville. And we were not disappointed! The food was the best we’ve had at Morton’s (not that Nashville has ever been bad) my husband said it was one of the best filets he’s ever had. We had great service, delicious food and drinks and overall I’m really happy we chose Morton’s and will continue to in the future for our celebrations.

My fiance and I went to Morton's. We recently got engaged so we wanted to celebrate. We also recently had to put our dog down and it was the first time going out since. We were just trying to celebrate something happy. We did mention the recent engagement to the server , with hopes of a small glass of bubble or something, but nothing. A small 'congrats' when we finally got the bill. We were put in a little uncomfortable corner We saw on tiktok there was a special for 2 people for the tomahawk. So we decided to try it as we have never had that cut. The fiance is usually a bone in ribeye guy. The server was fine and nice.....until we asked about the special. He seemed annoyed and had to go get the menu. We noticed he did not put it out on the tables..after we ordered, it was downhill from there. The sides and food were cold, you could tell it was sitting out (because we waited). We also waited about 20 minutes for our second round of drinks. The tomahawk was actually not great, which is probably why we haven't ordered it? Maybe its the cut? It was so chewy. I could barely swallow any of it. We had to wait to get boxes at the end of dinner. The server came to our table twice and said oh I'll get it. Never did. The bus boy ended up getting it for us (he was so great and attentive). Then we weren't even offered dessert, which was what I was mostly looking forward to. Just offered a check we had to wait 10 minutes for, after waiting for a box for 15 minutes. Not great. Probably won't come back as there are other steakhouses in Chicago who will treat their customers better. Didn't mean to offend a server by ordering a special the restaurant was offering. Such an unspecial meal and big disappointment.

We actually didn’t get to eat there. We had a reservation booked for almost a week. They seated us next to the kitchen. Wait staff were hauling chairs past our table and the noise from the kitchen was substantial. They didn’t have another table so we left. We went around the corner to the Tortoise Supper Club. The service and food and atmosphere were lovely. We will go there anytime we are in Chicago but not waste our time again on Morton’s.
the quality of the food was superior. The service by Bertha and others was excellent. The value of the Tomahawk steak special was an added benefit. The only negative was out of their control; a special needs individual bellowing incessantly at a nearby table.

The best steak I’ve ever had. Just simply delicious cognac and pepper sauce, my filet mignon was cooked to perfection. I also had a cocktail and a creme brulee everything was delicious
