The hotel is fun and has a very original decoration. The rooms are small, but there is not much of a problem. What is missing is privacy to change clothes. There is no space for others to see you.

Booked a room for a concert event and am so happy I did! I was able to easily upgrade my room with no hassle when I found out my friends wanted to go too. Check in it was very quick and friendly! The bar is quick and the tacos are great. Definitely will choose this place again!

Overall great experience, especially after a disappointing experience at the W Hotel that caused me to switch.Front desk staff were super friendly and helpful.Love the free drink token, however, your only options are beer or an incredibly sweet mixed drink. Please bring back wine as an option.Room was clean and nice. LOVE hotels that do not have carpet (so gross) - thank you for not including carpet in your rooms! The room/bathroom size is fine for one person but way too cramped for 2.Loved the floor to ceiling window. The bed and pillows were not comfortable (knocking a star because of this). No issues with room temperature, water pressure or temperature, WiFi, internet TV, elevators (all non-negotiables).Also loved that there wasn’t a bible or book of moron. Thank you! I hate it when hotels push a religious agenda on their guests. The bar area was VERY lively each night but still received friendly service rather quickly. The taco place on-site was convenient, however no breakfast tacos after 11am on the weekends? C’mon… you know what your guests are doing the night before. We just want to sleep in and get breakfast tacos.I would stay here again (but only by myself… too cramped for two in a room).Rooms: Nice and clean, but too tiny for more than one person. No issues with temperature, water pressure/temperature, WiFi, internet TV. Bed and pillows were cheap and not comfortable.Nearby activities: 5-10 min walk to the Riverwalk or Michigan Ave.Safety: Felt totally safe the entire time.Walkability: Walkable to tons of restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and the river in River North district.Food & drinks: Great bar and on-site taco place. Wish the drink tokens included wine too. And please serve breakfast tacos later than 11am on the weekends.Noteworthy details: Friendly staff and clean rooms. Onsite food and drink.

Moxy was by far the best and coolest experience I have ever had in a hotel. We stayed for one night for a concert we were seeing at the United Center. Super affordable and the United Center was only 5 minutes away. The overall hotel atmosphere is not like anything i’ve ever seen and it was amazing. Definitely for the younger groups of people wanting to stay in Chicago, but it’s so european chic and it was just amazing. The front desk was beyond kind and helped so much with where to park. We hadn’t used our two free drink tokens and when I went to give them back they said, “No! go get a free coffee on us from our breakfast area!” It was just so nice how she suggested that. Overall, I will DEFINITELY be coming back and Gino at the Zombie Taco makes a mean iced caramel latte. :)Rooms: Super clean rooms and such a cute vibe.Nearby activities: The United Center is only 5 minutes away and there’s lots of stuff around there as well :)Safety: Didn’t ever feel like my safety was at risk it was a great area and super easy to get a car there.Walkability: It’s on a perfect road where it’s not too crazy busy but enough to have a fun day in the city!Food & drinks: The food and drinks were so good and you even get a complimentary one on the hotel!Noteworthy details: Just amazing service everyone is so kind!

This is not your typical Marriott Hotel Property. It's colorful, hip and relaxed. Rooms are small, but clean and bright with a floor to ceiling glass wall overlooking the area. I was on the 8th floor and had a great view!

This place was great. The decor was cool. The staff was friendly, Heather and Jake were amazing and the staff went above and beyond when I left my phone there and went to the airport. They quickly made a suggestion and helped get my phone to me and it was greatly appreciated, even though I missed my flight, I really really appreciated that. Thank you so much! We would love to come back and have more than two days.Rooms: The rooms were cool they definitely make the most of a space.Nearby activities: Millennium Park and the Bean and Broadway shows seemed just around the corner or two.Walkability: Everything was really close, I found lots of shopping in a casino just around the corner.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Moxy Downtown Chicago! From start to finish, the service was exceptional, with Heather going above and beyond. Convenient downtown parking (despite the fee) made things easy. Plus, having a late-night taco shop downstairs was a delightful bonus. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for something cozy with view. This is the place. The view from my room was beautiful. You get a free welcome drink. Taco shop inside the hotel was delicious and the avocado toast for breakfast is amazing. The lobby has an open bar & a lot of adult board games. They accommodated all our needs. Only thing is the hotel has no parking lot of its own. They use a near by park structure with in and out privileges and it’s 2blocks from the hotel. Not that long of a walk. I would definitely come back.!
