Let me just say it's busy and hectic you need to get there at a great time! The food was great but it's overpriced! I mean it's also overpriced because of the hype on social media. Yet alone that the one waitress that looks older than most of them gave an unpleasant service. You could tell she was trying so hard to be nice but when she turned around it was a whole different mood. Also I saw how they mistreated the one making the tortillas. Their service is unwelcoming....
Mr. Chilaquil, it’s just a regular Mexican restaurant in Chicago. We waited about an hour in line, to get sited and over an hour to get our food. And it was just red, & green chilaquiles, with eggs, refried beans, a bit chicken. The cafe de la olla, was very disappointed. The portion is small and lock in taste. Food was okay but it took about 45 minutes for us to get our food and we went on a regular Wednesday. There’s only one cook and one person taking order and serving. Overall, would I come back? Probably not. The wait and customer service doesn’t correlate for the quality of food.
