I have been eating at Mr. Greek since I was a little girl. They have always had exceptional food, ok service, very clean lobby, But today I bought a Greek salad (the one with olives, feta and bell peppers) with gyro meat. There was a least 3 oz of water at the bottom of the salad container, the tomatoes were mushy(over ripe) and the feta cheese that they always claimed was made in house was some hybrid cream cheese feta. It is horrible. The worst part is that they have the nerve to charge $2 for the garbage cheese. And my meat was over cooked and dry. Probably warmed up on the grill. Will never go here again.

For a Friday (event), night service was much faster than many expected it to be. Food is always amazing 👏

The bathroom was not working for weeks. When I asked the owner he told me it broke today and got aggressive and angry. Which is illegal not to have a bathroom.

Liked the chicken gyro! Fries were solid. Italian beef hella soggy but the meat itself was good. Wouldn’t sit there with food, there’s construction going on and it’s like a kill room from Dexter with so much plastic on the walls. Prices a bit high too, open late though.

Last time I tried Gyros and it was very amazing. The size was huge and I couldn't finish it at one time!

Great people. One visit their credit card machine was not working I didn't have enough cash to pay for the food so the young ladie gave me some of here own money to pay for the food. Wow she was great. Next time I visited I gave here the money she didn't want to take it but I insisted.

I was expecting a delicious gyro being that it was greektown, however I was quite disappointed. It was one of the worst I'd ever have. 😕

The meal I got a couple of days ago from this restaurant was lacking everything: flavor, quality, and love. If I secretly hated someone, I would serve them the meal I got.
I got the Chicken Gyros Plate for take out, replaced the fries with rice. The substitution for the rice upped the price to $17, which I do not think is fair for the meal you get.
The plate comes with a salad and pita. The salad was forgettable, nothing special about soggy and flavorless tomatoes and lettuce. The pita tasted like the ones you could buy prepackaged from Jewel-Osco. The rice was abismal, not really contributing to the taste of the meal overall. What really set me over the edge was the meat. The chicken looked promising but was quick to disappoint. It felt like I was eating thin slices of rubber, there was an absence of any seasonings and flavor.
All I gotta say is do better ❤️. In this economy, nobody should spend $17 on a subpar meal like this. Add seasoning to the food and invest in better quality ingredients.
