Excellent food. Had the combo set and it was so fresh, delicious and thoughtfully made even though it's a fast casual, everything was seasoned to perfection. The basmati rice was so flavorful and perfectly cooked. The falafel is to die for, it is one of the best I've had. Price is so reasonable too for what you get nowadays. Friendly service. Will be back!

Had dinner at Mr. Kabab last Friday and it was 🔥. Dropped about $28 on a chicken shawarma pita, gyro fries, and their house salad. Meat was juicy, fries crispy, salad fresh — felt like a next-level neighborhood cheat day. Portion sizes had me rollin’ home with leftovers. Staff was chill and fast. No cap, this is my go‑to spot on Peterson. 5 stars all day!

This place was straight GAS. I ordered the beef shawarma roll and let me tell you… I have no cluewhat Mr. Kabob is putting in those rolls, but it’s next-level good.
First off, they do not skimp on the meat. Like seriously, that thing was packed. Every bite was loaded with tender, juicy beef — perfecty seasoned and cooked just right. The garlic sauce was creamy and flavorful, the pickles added the perfect crunch, and the wrap itself was warm and slightly crispy on the outside. Everything just worked together like magic.
By the time I finished, I was actually mad it was over. I was sitting there like, how did I eat that so fast?? ðŸ˜
If you haven’t tried this place yet, you’re sleeping. Mr. Kabob doesn’t play around — this is easily some of the best shawarma I’ve ever had. 100% coming back fore more.

Tasty as hell chicken kabob and the saffron rice over which it was served tasted amazing. The tahini is creamy and strong, and the garlic dip isn’t crazy overpowering like at Pita Inn. Wish I tried this place sooner as it’s on Peterson so it’s on Lake county’s way downtown and to the lakefront, so it’s conveniently located. I’ll be back.
