The best submarine sandwich in America. What a wonderful variety of fresh cut meats turkey and chicken. Seafood options are available too that are spelend. One can have a hot sandwich and or a cold sandwich. The hotdogs are tremendous as is the Chicago style Italian beef. Plenty of fresh produce to choose from. Catering is definitely a great way to easily satisfy your guests for any occasion with high quality and fresh party subs, salads Italian beef, potato macaroni, coleslaw and bakery oven fresh bread and real Wisconsin butter. This restaurant is very clean and sanitary with restrooms that have plenty of soap and hot water. The staff and management team are customer service oriented and take care of your needs immediately. Great value quality and family fun. Attend!!!!!!

Food was decent but way overpriced. The guys behind the counter and a little rude and they advertise specials that they don’t offer anymore. Probably won’t go back

Had a dope lunch at Mr. Submarine—grabbed a hot corned beef sub, garlic fries, and a can of RC. Spent around $17. Bread was pillowy Turano and meat was juicy—even heard locals call it “Chicago’s corned beef king”. Staff was chill and fast, spot feels real—it’s a solid mid‑day fix. Highly recommend if you want a no‑frills, tasty sub.

Mr. Submarine is a solid go-to when you're craving a quick, no-fuss sandwich in the city. I swung by the Fullerton location and grabbed the classic Mr. Sub for $8.50—ham, salami, chopped ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, and their signature sauce. Added a bag of chips and a can of pop, bringing my total to around $13. The sandwich was fresh and satisfying, though I wish they were a bit more generous with the mustard. Service was speedy and friendly, even during the lunch rush. Overall, it's a reliable spot for a hearty sub, but a little more attention to condiment portions would make it even better.

If you're from Chicago and love a classic hoagie or sub, you know Mr. Submarine. I've been coming here since childhood, and they never disappoint. Fresh meats, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and their secret sauce—delicious! Plus, two sizable sandwiches for $9 is unbeatable. The best in town!
