Delicious meal, really good servings for the price. We got butter chicken, garlic naan, aloo cutlace, and mango lassi. Everything was really good. The rice serving was pretty big, you can probably split with two people

Have been there four times in the last few months and the food is really good, prices reasonable, and quantities generous. Made in house dough for the samosas which are fantastic, and excellent naan.
By far and away my favorite Indian place, ever, period. I love love their butter chicken, it does not get better. Thank you for making this wonderful food

I am so disappointed, as Mr Tandoor came highly recommended. Quite possibly the worst butter chicken that I have ever had in my life. The chicken tasted like it was from a can, the sauce was overpowered by what looked like an entire bowl of grease. The flavor was like no butter chicken that I have ever tasted- I expected a warm, smooth tomato and savory spice flavor- what I got was a greasy jalapeno spice abomination. NO other flavor but cilantro and jalapeno was to be found. I suppose the only redeeming feature of the meal was the garlic naan, but even it wasn't that great. Definitely would not recommend this to my friends or family.

Placed a to-go order @ 5:00 pm was told it would be 20 minutes (arrived and waited another 20 minutes) just to be told the guy who took my order wrote it down wrong. Ended up leaving didn’t feel like waiting another 30 min for my food.
Side note this first time I ordered it was good, and the female who was working before should be your front of house person she’s amazing.
I have had Tandoor many times and I can honestly say this is some of the best I’ve ever had. The depth of flavor and quality of ingredients were exceptional!
The warmth and attentiveness of service was definitely a huge plus and was quite unexpected given the humble and unassuming store front.
Mr. Tandoor is definitely a place that is worth seeking out on your next trip to Chicago!

Visiting from Toronto, I was blown away by the flavors at Mr. Tandoor Desi Restaurant. The butter chicken was creamy perfection, and the tandoori lamb chops were tender and flavorful. The freshly baked naan paired perfectly with the rich, authentic curries. The warm ambiance and friendly staff made the experience even better. This is a must-visit spot for anyone craving exceptional Indian/Pakistani cuisine. Highly recommend!
