If you want Chicago Tavern Style, Mr. V has perfect, crunchy thin crust and their sausage is out of this world. Everything we order from here is great, and service is always fast. So happy we have this place nearby!

Best tavern style pizza in the Jefferson Park/Forest Glen area. Great tasting sauce and fresh ingredients.
I ordered the pizza to be thin, which they advertise that, to be crispy and hot! I literally live 4 minutes away from the damn location and it comes undercooked and like warm! I contacted the APP that I ordered it from and MR V’s just blows it off like they could care less! Garbage owners, garbage pizza, worthless customer service!

Uncle Weezy recommended this spot to me and I’ve got to say, he was on to something! We got the Mrs. V’s special and enjoyed every last bite! The staff was excellent as well.

A friendly neighborhood pizzeria that has been in business for over 60 years, Mr V's offers an excellent thin crust pizza, crunchy and toasted, with their homemade sauce and fresh ingredients. My family particularly likes the Mr V's Special, with their own Italian sausage. We've also been impressed by the Sicilian Bakery Pizza. The small restaurant area is decorated with sports memorabilia. In rough weather, it's exposed to the outside every time someone enters. We always get carryout and in my memory, it's always been ready just about on time. We've tried the calamari, which are typical frozen fare, nothing special. We have yet to try the ribs, but they're on our list. There are pizzerias with more gourmet touches, and higher prices. This one is a gem for how solidly fulfills the role of neighborhood restaurant.

I had to get on the Metra, but was early and wanted to grab a soda somewhere. Saw this place right next door and decided to grab lunch too. Had a slice of the thin sausage and it was delicious! It was a nice big slice with lots of flavor and crunchy crust! Throw in a drink for 50 cents more, you can't beat it. The guy behind the counter was super friendly too! 10/10 would be back. I wish I would've had the option to give a tip on my card, but I'll just bring cash next time.

Mr V’s is definitely one of my favourite pizza spots and a Chicago classic. Their pizza is absolutely delicious. I always get the bacon and broccoli thin crust, and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and I always get my pizza hot and fresh. I definitely recommend Mr V’s if you’re considering them, you will not regret your decision!
