Edit: Removing a star because for the past few orders I have received old fries.Got the 4pc dark and a side of hush puppies. The chicken was delicious; flavorful, juicy, and freshly made. I was actually given enough mild sauce for my chicken and fries that I didn't need to order extra. Hush puppies were decent, nothing too special. The mild sauce was perfect as well, the perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and tangy. I will definitely be ordering again. Unfortunately their mac and cheese isn't very good. Not really flavorful and I believe they microwaved it in the syrofoam cup it comes in, as the cup broke in half and was melted when I tried to open it. Their perch is delicious, very tender and flakey and seasoned just as well as their chicken. Did not care for their biscuit as it was deep fried which was unexpected.

Now I'm from Texas born and raised and moved to Chicago less than 6 months at the time of writing this and let me tell you... THEY DID WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. I was craving catfish and didn't feel like cooking and they reminded me of the restaurants down south with the full body of flavor for each piece of fish, each french fry and each hushpuppy I tore up. All of it was 10/10 and I will HAPPILY be reordering from them in the future. Even when working in the office down I can't wait to try their other menu items!Y'all can have all my coins! Bravo. Take a bow!

What happened??!! I ordered mixed dark recently and it tasted terrible! Also the pieces were small with very little meat. SO disappointed. They have always been my fried chicken go-to since the owner bought from Harold's. No more. Sad.

Deeeeelicious fried chicken! Got takeout here and was not disappointed! My recommendations: 1) 1/2 dark 1/2 white fried chicken: crispy, tasty, and not greasy! You know how sometimes fried chicken is glistening with grease? Not the case here. 2) Deep fried corn on the cob: This was incredible. I've never had battered and deep fried corn before. And I'm so glad I got to try it here. The batter was really well seasoned with what tasted like seasoned salt and paprika. 3) Mild dipping sauce: Good to dip everything in! Sweet, smoky, and addictive! Things that I got that I would probably not get again: 1) Fried okra: Maybe I'm just not an okra head, but I continually find myself disappointed with fried okra. I feel like they're never that crispy, and the flavor is kind of blah. 2) Mac and cheese bites: I thought these were just OK. Basically, they're little triangles of breaded deep fried mac and cheese. Flavor wise, I wasn't bowled over. I did want to add as a note that the chicken meal that came with fries did have soggy fries, which I assume happened because the hot chicken and fries were thrown in the box together immediately. I actually like soggy fries, so it was not an issue for me. But just FYI--if you like your fries crispy, I recommend asking for the fries in a separate container.

We supported Ms. T's during the month of February and I must say it is every thing I I expected for some good southern cooking I don't do restaurants much, because not the price but because everybody don't cooks with love. I tell you if you never tried MS.T's you don't know what you you been missing.

Honestly, when I can I am always referring people to this place. If you want good fried chicken/catfish, this is the spot. It’s been one of our go to’s since the pandemic began and the owner is always super sweet. Expect to wait, the food is made fresh. Check it out! Happy to have this gem in the community. ? ?

I was excited to try this place since I found it on Yelp. The food in their photos looked delicious. It looks crunchy and flavorful. They have a small place. There are a few tables and chairs inside. They have a chocolate and pie display. I tried their Chicken Wings Bucket and Mixed Chicken Bucket. They have a fast service which my order came really quick. I found their Chicken Wings Bucket was dry for me. The chicken meat on it was not juicy but it was crunchy outside. It's only good if they have a sauce. While their Mixed Chicken Bucket was the best. It's crunchy and juicy. It's really yummy even though it has no sauce on it. I find it really delicious. I recommend you to try this.

Wow! We ordered from the first time from Ms. T's yesterday and we had a wonderful experience! We walked up to the front and then realized we definitely should have ordered ahead for pickup. They cook everything fresh so it took 20-25 minutes but it was absolutely worth the wait. Next time we will definitely order at home on Grubhub for pickup! The woman handing out orders (possibly Ms. T?) was so welcoming and kind. My fiancé ordered one of the fried chicken dinners and I ordered the 2 piece catfish dinner. I should have definitely gone for the 4 piece! It was plenty of food but it was just so good I wished I had more! She mentioned that it was the best fried catfish in the city on our way out and I definitely believe it! My fiancé said it was the best fried chicken he's ever had! The fries were homemade and incredibly good as well. We ordered the caramel pound cake and, I am sure that it is absolutely wonderful normally, but we seemed to have gotten an older piece so it was quite dry and hard. We will definitely be back very soon!

This place is awesome. Top notch fried chicken, really good fries, and a wide assortment of other goodies. The fried perch is also exceptional, as well as the corn batter-dipped corn on the cob. The pièce de résistance, however, are their sauces. Their gold sauce is hands down the best BBQ sauce I've ever had. I liked it so much, I bought a 20-oz bottle from them and used it on a smoked brisket I made the next week. Highly recommend!

This was my first time trying this restaurant. The place was small and the only problem was it was a hassle to find a parking lot because they didn't have one. Their bestseller is fried chicken with different dishes and flavors.They sell not only chicken but also cake, pudding, pie, spaghetti and pizza. I tried 8 wings with a lemon pepper, salt and pepper and a mild sauce. You can taste the tenderness and the juiciness of the chicken. Their chicken is a little bit crispy. I like their sauce because it's perfect in the chicken. I also tried their banana pudding cheesecake. A cheesecake toppled with vanilla wavers and banana pudding. I like its sweetness and softness in my mouth. The food is worth the price. Being here for the first time is not bad. The food was good and flavorful. The staff is friendly and nice. I recommend this place.

HORRIBLE ORDERING EXPERIENCEOrdered the Mixed combo at 7PM on Uber Eats and waited 3 HOURS before the driver CANCELLED at 10PM. Utterly horrendous customer service and with no explanation. Their phone is permanently off. Do not order from this unproffesional establishment. Horrible

I had great experience ordering from Ms. T's in the past. Unfortunately this order was pretty bad. GrubHub was over an hour late with the delivery so everything was cold and kind of soggy. In addition a few of the drumsticks were broken and all of the chicken pieces seemed a lot smaller than last time I ordered. Not sure if I just had bad luck with this order or if things have really changed.
