Found this on our visit to the food street we just pass by and picked up coconut biscuits. The owner was very humble and offered his famous usmania biscuits to us right from oven. They were so crispy and to die for. He was kind enough to offer us his famous butter bread too. Would highly recommend someone visiting Chicago to pass by and try these amazing cookies. The prices are also v reasonable
My husband and I were in the area and walked by this bakery. We stopped in on a whim, and the gentleman behind the counter was so kind. He gave us an almond cookie to test along with some bread rolls. We ended up buying some chicken and potato patties that we’ll be eating throughout the week. Wonderful service - we’ll be back next time we’re in the area!
I had an absolutely lovely experience here! This is a great bakery just off of Devon st. I would've normally walked past it but today the smell of fresh baked cookies welcomed me in. I was greeted by a friendly face and respite from the crisp cold air of Chicago winter. While browsing their products, the owner came out with warm freshly baked almond cookies for me to try.
