I ordered the gyro, and it wasn't very good, probably one of the worse I've had. They put the sauce , and onions on the pita and not on top of the meat. Who does that?? I might go back and try something different. The staff was very nice and the restaurant was clean & quiet.

The ambiance doesn't feel the safest with their plexiglass walls for security around the counters. But hey what do you expect when they're right next door to a liquor store that's called Capone's. Maybe if they change the name of the liquor store it would help with the ambiance of the area.
They don't seem to have a lot of personality or better yet a cheerful personality with good hospitality.

The Chicago dogs didn't taste great; even though the signs say Vienna Beef hot dogs, they didn't taste like them, more mushy and salty than a good snap with flavor. The fries were hard, dry and didn't taste fresh. The chocolate milkshake was nothing to note.

WOW! I had the Gyro combo with fries and coke and it was all perfection. I haven’t had a Gyro that tasty in years (I’ve tried many places), the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside as they should be, and the coke was not watered down. This will be my Gyro spot from now on.

Very limited seating compared to a chain Portillos, but better food for price. Munchies is a local neighborhood staple. Tavern style thin also sold
I always order the chicken kabob, because it's so flavorful. It comes with fries and a salad, but they added extra salad in leiu of fries for me. Pizza puffs are great too.
