Amazing! Such a nostalgic experience! The ambiance and amount of history is astounding! The owner truly represents Midwest hospitality and charm at its finest. Food is fresh and delicious! The 1/2 pound Vienna beef Chicago hot dog is a must before catching a Cubs game across the street! Our family truly appreciated the attentive and kind team at Murphy’s bleachers! An experience we will remember always!

My family drives 3 hours into Chicago every year for a Cubs game, and Murphy’s has always been our first stop after. That tradition ends now.

I was standing at the bar, waiting for a drink. Not talking. Not causing problems. I have a neurological disability that makes me move when I stand. It’s not loud. It’s not disruptive. And it’s not something I can just shut off.

Gabby, the bartender, stared at me and said:

“You know it won’t get you a drink any faster.”

I hadn’t even spoken to her. Then, while I was having a conversation with another customer—not even looking in her direction—she cut in again:

“If you keep it up, you’ll be kicked out.”

Kicked out for what? Existing? Having a condition she didn’t like?

That’s not just bad service. That’s discrimination. That’s ableism.

Murphy’s doesn’t get to hide behind “it was a misunderstanding.” It wasn’t. This was targeted and intentional.

If this is the kind of person they choose to keep behind the bar, they’ve already shown what they stand for.

If you have a disability—or just basic respect for people who do—you should think twice before giving this place a dollar.

Loud, crowded - what we expected. Be prepared to stand. It's just a hang out place before Cib games.

Murphy’s is the most magical place in Wrigleyville. They don’t have to have delicious food, yet they do! They don’t have to have amazing staff, yet they do!
Game day is phenomenal, winter eve dinners are special. Well done gang!!! Go CUBS!!

Murphy’s Bleachers is a Wrigleyville classic—right across from the ballpark and packed with energy. Great beer selection, fast service, and an unbeatable pre- and post-game atmosphere. Whether you're a die-hard Cubs fan or just in town for the experience, this place is a must.

No better spot to grab a few beers or drinks before a Cubs game. Great service even though it is always busy. Food is sneaky good as well and MUCH cheaper than buying food inside the ballpark. My favorite bar in the world!

What more can be said about this iconic place that hasn't already been said? Visiting from NC and had a few hours to kill. So we Came by on a day the Cubs were playing away, enjoyed lunch, a beverage, and a few in rings of baseball. We had burgers, the Italian beef sandwich (amazing) and the corned beef sandwich (fantastic). Would love to come back on game day. Loved all the pictures of celebrities and memorabilia on the walls.

Stopped into Murphy's Bleachers before Cubs v. Cardinals game with some friends from out of town for the 4th of July weekend. Needless to say, we had a great time. Patio seating fills up quickly so get there early. We spent some time talking to the beer tub girl, Kelly. She was a blast to talk to- funny gal! She remembered what beer we ordered and was very accommodating and welcoming, even though my buddy was from St. Louis. Ha! I usually go to Sluggers for game days but we had such a good time, we had to come back! This is now my official go-to bar for Cubs games. Go Cubbies!

Murphys is always a staple in my Wrigley visits. I mostly come for the atmosphere, but the service is great too.

If there is a baseball game, they only offer a very limited menu, so I don't recommend this place if you want to eat before the game. The ambience however is good. The place is fully self service.

I normally do not make reviews, but the bartender yelled at me after my boyfriend ordered. Extremely unprofessional and embarrassing. We left after he finished his drink and will never be coming back. I’ve gone to Murphy for years and always stop when I’m in Wrigley. That will not be happening ever again after today.
