Cool bar expensive which is to be expected but worth it to see it for sure.
Excellent Bar for a pre game drink & chicago dog before a Cubs game.
Of all the bars next to the stadium, this was definitely the best. The prices were not cheap, but not ridiculous for its location. The food was pretty good (had the chicken sandwich). The beer selection was great. The staff was friendly and efficient. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Definitely would go back the next time I go to Wrigley.
Kelly is the best bartender! So friendly and even knows your name. Chuck in Wisconsin!
A must stop for pregame!
Visited here after we had a tour of Wrigleyfield on a non game day. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food and drinks were reasonably priced and were tasty. Not much else to say but if you're in the area please make a visit here.
No where on their website does it say that their game day menu is different. As an out of towner I have to rely on their website to see menus, hours of operation, etc. We show up early expecting to sit down and have a leisurely dinner before the Cubs game. That didn't happen. On game day they only have typical ballpark food (precooked) available that you purchase through a window. You have to go to the bar to order a drink. No table service at all. If that's what I wanted I could have just eaten at the ballpark. We ended up getting a burger, which was immediately handed to us wrapped in foil. Who knows how long it hade been sitting. I only ate half before getting sick. I felt so sick during the Cubs game that my husband had to go to the first aid station and get pepto for me.
I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I booked Murphy's Rooftop for my 30th birthday party in May. Now I know May weather is always a toss up, but took the risk anyway because I love the Cubs and Murphy's. I've been going to Murphy's to watch games since I moved to the neighborhood in 2015. This place is amazing before and after games too. I honestly couldn't think of a better place to celebrate turning 30, and I wasn't wrong. The day came and it was pouring. Not just a little drizzle, downpour. We got to Murphy's and Freddie told us that the game was delayed until 3. He gave us two options we could go up early or we can go up 20 minutes before the game. Since people were arriving we decided to go up then. Despite the rain and delayed game we had the best time. The food was excellent, the drink selection was perfect for our event, we had a good view of the stadium, the Cubs almost won, and the staff were so accommodating. We were treated like family from start to finish. It was hands down my best birthday ever, and I owe it all to Murphy's for helping me put on such a great party. I 100% recommend this rooftop to anyone who is looking for a private rooftop to host your event and watch some baseball. You won't be disappointed.

Murphy's Rooftop is da absolute bomb!! We had a group of 30 on the rooftop over the Fourth of July weekend for a birthday celebration and surprise marriage proposal. Everyone came from across the country and had such an over-the-top time that they were asking if we were going to do it all over again next year. The KEY ELEMENT is that Murphy's is family-owned and you are literally treated like family. Freddy was a joy to deal with and he responded to every need without hesitation. If I texted with a question as the date neared, Freddy didn't text back, he PICKED UP THE PHONE and called me back within minutes. I felt like I was dealing with a friend the entire time. And the rooftop, bartender and food were beyond compare. Everyone had such a good time, no one wanted to leave. If you have a group outing, don't waste your time looking elsewhere. Murphy's is your place!

Stopped in for a pregame beer or two. Service was great, seating was limited due to the place being packed! made new friends and shared a table. Food looked good but did not eat here. Many places for get drinks which was nice!!
Located across the street from Wrigley Field, a great sports bar. Lots of memorabilia to look at, great selection of beers on tap and some really good bar food. Worth a visit
This is the best Goddamn turkey burger in the free world. You have to put up with proprietor Freddy’s boy band nonsense to get fed, but it’s well worth it - Ask for the Irish Mist next time you stop in!
Not a Cubs fan… goto this Cyclone bar when in Chicago! The most fun I have had in a long time in “enemy” territory!!
Loud. Fun. Gotta go. Make sure you have the tater tots. Belly up to the bar. Have a seat. I have to make this 100 words long. Go Reds!
