We were in the mood for ramen and stumbled upon this charming neighborhood eatery. The service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly. We ordered the Fried Pork Cutlet Curry Rice, Tonkatsu Ramen, and Miso Ramen. Each dish was incredibly tasty, with generous portions and reasonable prices. The Fried Pork Cutlet Curry Rice was particularly outstanding--I would definitely return for that!

Warning, very few vegetarian options. Almost all ramen, soups, etc have a pork base to them. If you don't eat pork, this is not the place for you. Restaurant is mostly set up for take-out. I was the only dinner in the restaurant. The water served to the table was undrinkable; chemical taste. The soup base of the ramen is incredible. That was the highlight of my visit to Musashiya. Size could be a little larger for the price.

Not my favorite ramen in the city, but it's pretty good if you're in the area. I think it's cool how they let you customize different parts of the ramen like the noodle firmness, saltiness, and how much garlic is in it. I got the Chicken Karaage Tonkotsu and while I thought the chicken quality could have been a little better it was pretty great overall. The service was good throughout. Ambiance isn't anything special, but it was clean and modern. I'd recommend overall, but I wouldn't consider it to be a destination worth traveling for.

The food here is the real deal and you will feel like you are eating in Japan...The chicken curry and Udon noodles with fried pork cutlets were fantastic and the pan fried Gyoza were perfectly cooked....This place even goes the extra step of being like a Japanese spot to eat by having fake plastic renderings of food displayed in the window...Nice touch. Cant wait to try more on the menu.

Good ramen. Also really good portion sizes. I was able to eat my whole bowl without feeling like I'd explode.

This ramen spot in Lakeview is decent but not the best compared to other options in the city. The interior is quite small. We visited on a weeknight when it wasn't too busy, but our ramen took about 20 minutes, which was a bit of longer wait than expected. We tried the Tonkotsu and Tsukemen. The Tonkotsu broth was reasonably rich and creamy with good depth. The noodles had a satisfyingly springy texture. However, the Tsukemen broth fell short of its typical depth as it was less thick than the Tonkotsu, and it tasted overly seasoned with pepper. The chashu in both ramens did not have much flavor and felt a bit dry.

Absolutely delicious! The plate was small, so my husband had to ask a second plate, but everything was very good!

This place has the best Japanese curry in the city. A definite must have if you’re a fan of tonkatsu Japanese curry.

Loved this spot and will definitely be back to try more things on the menu! We got the Pork Chashu Tonkatsu Ramen and Tsukemen. The broth was rich and savory, and the noodles chewy. My favorite though was the Karaage- probably the best I’ve had. Juicy chicken with a delicate coating. Service was nice and quick too!
