This is by far my favorite coffee shop in the city. The lavender latte is amazing. Their music selection is elite. Emma and George are always nice and friendly. The artwork and decor is unmatched. If you want good coffee and good vibes, definitely come here.

I’ve had this place on my list to try for a while and finally made it. I parked right out front around 10am. Trash and debris were all around first thing in the morning. As I walked to the door the glass of the door and windows were filthy. It’s obvious the outside ground, door and windows hadn’t been clean in at least a few days. I was turned off and decided not to go in and take this off my list of coffee shops to try.

First time here and the space was unlike other cafes in Chicago. Soul, funk and jazz playing…art on the walls and amazing gallery style artwork throughout. I’m still here and can’t wait to come back with other people!

It was my first time here today and It was okay. There’s a bit of variety in seating, which was nice. The guy working was a bit dry in energy/customer service but he had manners??. The coffee was a decent price; I didn’t care to buy a cinnamon roll for $5. As I observed the menu I noticed that he had a little girl with him up front who occasionally runs/stomps to and from the bathroom which was abrupt and off-putting as well as the music that was playing; it was a bit too distracting for me(the volume)and took away the peaceful atmosphere of the place.

Decent spot. Unfortunately the store was not been open by their communicated hours on the front door of the for a second time. I've walked from my home with family in town visiting to check out the spot and the store is completely closed during available hours
