I stopped by Mustard Seed because it was on the AAdvantage Dining Program list of participating restaurants. I needed to maintain my American Airlines account or lose 14,000 miles. Even though I checked the Mustard Seed website before I headed out, I arrived at the restaurant and didn't know what to order. The employee greeted me warmly as I made my way to the counter. I asked about the chicken and turkey burger. She suggested the chicken. I then saw the special for Crispy Catfish Sliders & Fries. Of course, I ordered the sliders. It was Friday, and I usually cook fish. Even though I enjoyed my meal, the buns were well-toasted, the sauce made my fish slightly soggy, and the shredded lettuce wilted. The large bag of fries was delicious and well-seasoned.I will go back to try other dishes. If I order the sliders again, I will ask for my bun to be lightly toasted and sauce on the side if possible. I picked off most of the wilted lettuce. If you are in the area, give Mustard Seed a try. My meal was under $14 with a tip and Service Fee (.25).

I was VERY disappointed. I got the pork chops with rice, brussel sprouts, a side of cornbread, mash potatoes and a lemonade. The pork chops were dry, bland, no seasoning. I literally choked. The brussel sprouts were burned, over cooked and slimy. The mash potatoes were runny with no seasoning (bland). The corn was ok, nothing to brag about. The cornbread was the only food item that had flavor and was not dry. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. I could've went to Burger King and had it my way and saved $30.Parking: The metermaids will get you.

Fabulous food, fantastic service, terrific experience. Highly recommended. The gumbo and the corn bread are not to be missed

This is a small, independent eatery in an expensive city within walking distance of a major conference center. It's not cheap, but I wouldn't expect it to be. The chicken gumbo was warming and tasty. The Cajun pasta was hearty and flavorful. The garlic bread was the perfect accompaniment. Staff was friendly and order was ready as promised. If you find yourself at McCormick Place for a conference and want to escape conference and hotel fare, this is a great option.

Two stars because the cashier was very nice but the food was terrible & a disgrace to what used to be Chef Luciano's. The garlic bread tasted freezer burnt the chicken tasted old. The gumbo had little to no rice and was very small for the price. Don't go here.

Solid. Food is always flavorful. Small casual dine-in area but mainly take-out. Order on-line. My regular. My kids love their chicken tenders.

The Mustard Seed kitchen does not disappoint! My meal (chicken tendies and fries) was delicious! Nice juicy chicken, great ranch dressing (no honey mustard though…) and the fries were flavorful! I was also excited to see Southern Sweet Tea! It’s not often you see that in the north so I took a chance and it made my day! Brewed nice and strong and the sweetness was spot on! Would definitely eat here again! It’s more of a quick service option with limited seating available. I put in my order online, but the others in my party ordered at the register. Online ordering was super easy and I did it while standing in line with others in my party. Even though my order was placed before them, I received my food 10 minutes after they did.

We order from MSK frequently, my favorite dish is the Tilapia with sauteed broccoli and rice pilaf. Today I ordered the Honey Mustard Salmon, it came with turnip greens and butter beans. I ordered based on the reviews, but I much prefer the tilapia. I eat salmon a lot, and prefer it cooked medium, this was well done and I didn't enjoy it as much. The greens and beans were okay. I was so looking forward to this meal, but wouldn't order it again. Everything else I've had from MSK has been delicious.

I got the lemon chicken with grilled broccoli and cauliflower pilaf, all of it was phenomenal in taste! I am NOT a fan of cauliflower usually but this cauliflower pilaf was amazing! Practically liked my plate clean!Dietary restrictions: I am currently paleo and avoiding gluten dairy and grains and it was easy to enjoy lots of options

Me and my husband ordered a takeout. After we finished eating our meals, we have instantly felt sick and our body started feeling weird and heavy. We ended up throwing up and gagging all night long. Something about their food ingredients wasn’t good. We have gotten food from them before which were fine except being super overpriced. We would love to support our local businesses but can’t risk our health again by purchasing food from them

Honestly the Cajun shrimp pasta was very good, but there was no shrimp! I clicked the option for no *extra* meat and I believe they understood it as no meat. Huge bummer. For $20+ and no protein, this is ridiculous!
