Nabala Cafe is a great addition to the neighborhood and an awesome neighborhood cafe. It is a very friendly and welcoming place with a safe and friendly atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and sweet, helping to cultivate a welcoming atmosphere. The food and drinks are delicious, very good, and incredible, with a wonderful variety. The beverage choices are very good, featuring excellent espresso that is nutty, savory, and chocolatey. Specific highlights include a delicious cardamom rose latte and good decaf options. The prices are reasonably priced and decent.
The cafe is open later than most other coffee shops nearby. The seating is good to work from, and while it can be tough to get a table and it often gets pretty full, seating is pretty easy to find as people come and go. The noise level is reasonable, and there is a book shelf in the back. It is a good place to sit down and chat with friends or work. The cafe also hosts fantastic events like live music. It is a highly recommended space in Chicago.
