food came out fast and there are a lot of options. had the tacos and brussels; tacos were just ok and the brussels seemed like they were fried from frozen. Updated from previous review on 2025-05-04

Great to have vegan options that appeared to be mostly on the healthy side, and wanted to like the food but the options I chose were not the best flavors. Burger had verry little flavor which was a disappointment since was looking forward to house made burger, cauliflower wings had lots of flavor but too much oil and potato salad just had parsley. Would try other options. Updated from previous review on 2025-04-29

Fresh delicious food. Got taco salad with tempeh. Quick service. Reasonably priced. Definitely recommend if in Chicago looking for casual great vegan food for lunch or dinner.

Delicious peanut butter parfait! Liked the buffalo chicken run ranch but wasn’t crazy about the orange cauliflower bowl because it looks so good on the menu but I couldn’t taste any orange. I asked for some sweet chili and hot sauce to give it some kick. Wish I would have tried the Senegalese options instead!

I used to go to Native Foods in CA, and always loved it. When I realized they have one in Chicago owned by a Senegalese man, I decided to try his sub-menu and it was delicious!

I got the taco salad, which came out within 5 minutes and was quite tasty and filling!

Holy Mother of all plant based cuisine ! The bbq brisket sandwich was sooooo delicious. There are So Many other options on the menu that will be bringing me back. It’s really nice to have such an option in a restaurant. Thanks for being here on this planet 🌎

Took my parents here, we were one of two tables in the place—they are not vegan, adverse to vegan cheese and my dad doesn’t like tofu—we tried the nachos, chicken fingers, and chicken BLT, and they loved it all. Dad said their dill potato salad is the best potato salad he’s ever had. I’m still thinking about that PB chocolate pudding days later. Excited to come back and try the Senegalese food!

Tasty and easy to get to from union station

We got the munchwrap and a chicken bacon avo club with a couple of alterations. The food came as ordered and was ready to go when we arrived. Be sure to stir the Mac and cheese if you get take out because the cheese settles to the bottom! We would eat here again and try some more dishes. Update: We got takeout from Native Foods again and tried the Senegalese Trio. It was really good and I recommend trying it! Updated from previous review on 2024-12-07

The first time I ever went to Native Foods was at this location in Chicago. I had the Oklahoma Vegan Cowboy Sandwich w/ sweet potato fries. This is hearty fare and portions are big. For a nice cheap date you could easily split an order of vegan nachos w/ a significant other or a friend. Native Foods is all vegan and is a great company especially for a chain which has good values I feel plus is the perfect place to bring people on the fence about trying familiar comfort foods veganized. Yay, for Native Foods!!
