Perosnal experience at NAYOS:
I don't live in Chicago, but for Nayos African Cuisines, I am ready to travel that far just to have a taste of a good African dish. The food was tasty, well spiced. Serving portion, generous. He was not stingy with his delicious meal. Atmosphere was excellent. Service was very professional. Wait time was great. Price for the food, excellent. My wife and I had to stay one more day to enjoy Nayos again before heading back home. The only issue was parking. This is a general problem in Chicago, so, not Nayos fault. But it was easy for us to find parking around Nayos. Thank God!
I hope to visit Chicago again soon. One of the reasons for this visit would be to visit Nayos.

The food was very fresh! My aunt said it was excellent. Although the guy (cook) serving us wasn’t the friendliest, he did give us the authentic experience. Overall the food was tasty food.

I'm happy I stumbled on Nayos African Cuisines in Chicago! As a newbie to the city, I was really excited to find this spot serving up real-deal African flavors. The chef is really kind and accommodating - they really make you feel at home.

The Igbo culture vibes are strong in their dishes, and I loved trying new ones. I had the seafood okra which was absolutely delicious and loaded with yummy delicacies. My friend had the Jollof rice and fried cat fish and she LOVED it! What I love most is the love and care that goes into each dish. You can taste the passion for Igbo culture in every bite. Plus, prices are super reasonable. If you're looking for authentic African eats in Chicago, this is the spot. 5/5 stars from me! Already planning my next visit!

Walked in, given a menu and kept being told they were out of dishes. Finally ordered something on the menu with my group. Dishes were brought out one by one to the group. When 2 of 4 of us had the meals, was told that they didn’t have beans and could not make the remainder the order, but would provide plantains and goat.

Food was basic. Did not look like pictures on the google listing or what was presented on the menu.

Hands down one of the best spots in Chicago for real Nigerian food! If I could rate it 10 stars, I would. Every bite tastes like it came straight from home. If you know Naija food, this is the place. A true gem, highly recommend!
