We were excited to try this restaurant, and I kid you not.. Dennys is much better than this place. I'm really disappointed. We'll, the only good part is we still get to celebrate my girlfriends birthday and we had fun talking about how bad the food is. Birthday girl went home with upset stomach.

This place is absolutely horrible. The food was terrible, we waited almost 2 hours for our food and it was served cold. I ordered "sizzling fajitas " And they were cold. The bathrooms here are also a complete health hazard. Absolutely disgusting. I would NOT recommend.

The overall restaurant atmosphere is nice. Service was attentive. The negative...we ordered appetizers and a couple simple plates. The food took for a very long time to come out, and the food was just eh, nothing great. Bill with tip was $300 including some drinks. I find that on the high side for what we got. My wife and I could have gone elsewhere and had 2 $80 steaks with sides and a bottle of wine for the same price.

Beautiful decor, and a really cool bar and restaurant, but this downtown Summerlin beauty fails on very mediocre food. Oysters were tasteless, as were the fajitas. The spicy margarita is not spicy, the salsa and guacamole were boring, and the fajita steak was dry and chewy. I hope they can improve their game in the kitchen, but until they do it will continue to be mostly empty on a Saturday evening. I wonder they will survive.

We loved the birria and cheese burrito but they aren't doing it with the bone in and table side taking it out show any longer. That was the fun part. Food is great, ambiance wonderful, and staff is kind of.

Food was good atmosphere was super unique and fun, music was a vibe, service was good guy gave some good recommendations... drinks were great! Pricing a bit heavy but for the area it makes sense.

I recently dined at La Neca cocina y lounge after booking my reservation through OpenTable and noting that it was my sister's birthday. Unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming from the start. The entrance to the restaurant was confusing, as we accidentally entered the area where a DJ was hosting a trivia night. After being redirected, we finally made it to the dining area. The service was particularly disappointing. Despite mentioning the birthday when making the reservation, the special occasion went unrecognized until I had to inform the server myself, as the hostess did not pass along the information. Our drinks, including simple refills of water and soda, were not replenished in a timely manner. It took two hours and 15 minutes for me to get a refill on my water, and that only happened because I had to ask for it. The entire meal for just the two of us took over three hours it was a Tuesday night—not because we were enjoying a leisurely dining experience, but due to the lack of attention to our table. The server was largely absent, and we felt neglected. The only time he made his presence known was when he was clearing the table at the end of our meal, sending the busboy over to retrieve the payment. While the food was good, the lack of attention from the server significantly impacted our overall experience. With just two of us at the table, it should not have been difficult to provide basic service. Sadly, I can't say I would recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

Cool vibes.... Feels like you are sitting in a grotto (in the front room). Awesome drinks! Their mixologist really knows a thing or 2.... So drinks are dangerous because you can suck them down so easy.

My husband and I had tried La Neta when it first opened, and the service was awful. We decided to give it another try last night, hoping it had improved since it's been a few years. The service was prolonged, and the restaurant felt understaffed. We waited over 15 minutes just for water. Due to allergies, I ordered broccoli and filet mignon (with the sauce on the side). My food arrived 30 minutes later with asparagus and steak covered in sauce. I sent it back as it was not what I ordered. The server told me they would take a half-hour to remake it. I ended up canceling the steak and asking for the bill. I pulled out my phone to order GrubHub while sitting in the restaurant since I was still hungry and didn't trust ordering any additional food due to the slow service and lack of attention to detail. The bill came and we paid over $150 for one beer, one order of oysters, a side of beans, broccolini (that I didn't get), and seafood enchiladas (my husband ordered). We laughed and said we would go elsewhere next time: terrible service and overpriced Mexican food. La Neta is beautiful inside, but we recommend you evaluate your dining options for quality food and service.

Incomplete orders were served missing sides and one party members food order was completely forgotten. Drinks rarely refilled and took 40 minutes to get the check and close out. Service is not what it used to be and rice taste hard and crunchy as if it's left under a heat lamp for several hours.

We dined early so it was quiet and not very busy. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food presentation was nice but both of our meals were bland. It is not somewhere we will go again.

I'm assuming the price of food is due to the Summerlin location as it's not for the food and the smaller than normal portions. The restaurant could be successful if it appeals to those who do not know of quality Mexican food.

First time thing to La Neta and it was a wonderful experience. Our waitress was very sweet, answered all of our questions and gave us great recommendations. She overall took care of me and my sisters. Will plan on going again in the future.

Our seafood enchiladas were fabulous, as was the watermelon salad. Our margaritas were refreshing Our waiter, Mario, was knowledgeable about Happy Hour and specialty drinks. He was wonderful. The chocolate cake was huge and delicious. A great place to celebrate a birthday!
